Dear Corinne

It is done!

And thanks to you and my daughter Magda, Advent was as always exciting and most of all very amusing for me. Arigatou!

Today I wish you an especially wonderful Christmas morning, no matter whenever you get up this day and whatever the weather may be. Enjoy the wonderful silence, make yourself a cup of tea and maybe let your mind wander back to Mori, the unfortunate alien on OOR, in "Naive Astronaut". Was his father really the only reason for him to run away from home?

A new character appears now in my last post, who already played an unknowingly big role back then and duly takes it over in "Hello from the other side". I don't need to introduce him to you much either, since you know him anyway. He is also the reason for the selection of my artist, whose songs I added to the individual Advent windows. "Bad Habits", after all, is a great fit for the bad habits of this mysterious stranger.

Well then, have fun and Merry Christmas.

The strange alien is quite sure of itself, needs neither rules nor guidelines, although it should know like all IUCHIS that smallest interferences of the aliens into the world of humans, are unpredictable and dangerous and they sometime ... no longer remain undetected.

Coincidence or not?The former schoolmate of Mori appears quite suddenly and accompanies the singer to a meeting ...

"Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you all here. And please excuse my little indisposition, we have ... a small talk." He looked to his right and smiled sweetly, then turned his gaze back to the crowd and introduced himself, "My name is Takeru Satou, and as you may already know, I'm an actor." He tilted his head again in greeting and a low murmur went through the rows, then he continued, "It has always been a great concern of mine to work with the very best, as I truly appreciate their work..." at this, his eyes now drifted to Toru, who was staring at the ceiling, unconcerned and sullen, as if none of this was any of his business. "This merger is certainly an asset for both of us. And since my movies are very famous and broadcast worldwide, I'd like to make an attractive offer to you, as an equally successful rock band." The murmur grew louder, and astonished faces turned to the still standing handsome man. "I invite you to do so and would very much appreciate having my Rurouni Kenshin movies supported by your music.

The music producers and whoever else was present clapped their hands in delight. Even Taka joined in after some hesitation, except Toru's arms remained tightly wrapped around his torso, as if he were in a straitjacket, and his facial expression showed no sign of wanting to change this attitude. He had no chance to speak out against it. Even though he was the leader of the band that just got the great opportunity to enter into a partnership with this famous man, he hated the thought of it and still had to submit. So, with his poker face, he remained in his position, leaning casually in the swivel chair and glancing at the happy expressions of the people at the table. Every now and then, the corners of his mouth moved as he pushed his lips forward and pulled them back again tensely. A clear sign of his displeasure in that matter. He was leaving it to the others to sign the contracts and when everything was wrapped up, he stood up and left.

"He's still suffering from the effects of his Corona illness," Taka excused him so as not to make the guitarist seem rude, and this was noted with a nod. The crowd dispersed after effusive congratulations and only the singer and the actor remained in the hall.

"Now we are partners," Takeru announced solemnly, reaching for Mori's hand and blowing a kiss on it. "I'm so happy. You don't know how." The addressed tried to stay cool, straightened up as straight as he could and grinned unnaturally wide.
