" Whats it like on the east side Amber?" Chayce shouted. She was running perimeter patrol with me and Dawson And Blaze. She was a white wolf, and she was a year older than me. Blaze and Dawson were best friends and they loved to crack jokes. Especially about Zach and me. Dawson is a red wolf and Blaze is a Grey-ish Colour.

" All good over here! Whats it like up at the North?" I thought. The good thing about werewolves is that every one in your pack can hear your thougts but only if you want them to. You can direct your thoughts to anybody you want or keep them to your self. It came in handy sometimes. Like now. We caught a trail of Vampire scent earlier this morning. I couldnt smell it any more, neither could any one else, but we still didnt give up.

" It all good? Dawson?" Blaze said

" Alright guys, Bring it in. Pack meeting in the clearing in 10 minutes. All must attend." It was Xander. The Alpha. What ever he says goes I turned in a large arch.and challenged Chayse to a race. She was the fastest runner, and she still beat me, but i really pushed my self. We made it to the square in the village and we phased. Every one was going to the market or going home from their friends house.

" Well your pretty damn fast!" I said to Chayce , she smirked.

" I know!". She said, and we walked to the path that let out of the village. Suddenly Zach came up and hugged me from behind.

" Hey there beautiful!" He said. Chayce walked infront of me giving us some space. She ran an phased mid air. Then Zach moved his hands all over my back .

" Wanna Race?" He asked. Without a warning i ran and phased and so did he , we ran to the clearing. He beat me there , and we came out laughing. I phased to human form and he did too. He took his arm and wrapped around my waist, we wlked to the circle of people and then we heard Xander clear his throat loudly. We all fell silent and stared at xander. There were seven of us all lined up in a row, Xander spoke.

" As you are all aware, te stwnch if a vampire crossed our village just a mile out side of town, we should be on our best guard and not let it down. You know the drill, if they attack, run.
