Blood Moon

Chapter 12

It seemed like years had passed by. The Images of me and Zach flowed through my mind. I thought I was dead. Until I heard the clinking of chains and whimpers. Slowly I opened my eyes and tried to sort out the scene. Zach was chained up to the bars of a cage and he was staring at me.

" Amber!! Baby!! Your awake! " He fought against his restraints and snarled because he couldnt break free. I couldnt feel my legs and couldnt move them either.

" AAAAAAHHHH !!!" Zach snarled and finally broke free of his restraints. He bolted over to me and gently scooped me up into his arms. He started crying and I did too.

" Oh babe, its okay, shhh its okay, Im here now. Im sorry. Im so sorry. I couldnt fight. Im not strong enough." He sobbed and hugged me closer.

" Oh Zach! Dont be sorry. We tried to get away. You tried to save me. And TBH ... My legs are feeling alot better, remeber we heal fast" I sobbed as well.

" But you shouldn't have gotten hurt."

We just sat there and cried together. Suddenly the door of the cage flew open and I jumped and so did he. We cringed back and I was shaking so hard. But it wasnt a vampire . It was Chayce!

" Lets go now! While they are still fighting. !" Zach phased and put me on his back and he ran. My legs were feeling like they could be of use again. I could just barely move them, but i wrapped them tighter around Zach. When they stopped running we were back In the village, and Chayce and Zach took me to our cabin. He layed me down on the bed and then he layed beside me and I felt his safe strong arms wrap around my waist. Chayce started to explain what happened.
