❛A FOE? AN ALLY?❜

"finally, bath time" y/n smiled as she stepped into the tub filled with warm water.

she sat down and leaned her head on the edge of the tub, closing her eyes instantly. on the opposite side of the tub, a huge mirror with y/n bathing in the reflection. y/n glanced at the mirror then one of her eyes turned into e/c and the reflection changed.

the setting in the reflection was a kotatsu on a wooden floor, the room was decorated in red and gold. y/n could hear the footsteps rushing towards the kotatsu and two female appeared in the reflection. they were bickering and fighting for the kotatsu.

"let it go, ren! i was supposed to sit on it!"

"shut up! it's my turn this time! let me talk to her majesty!"

"you will end up asking some stupid questions, ren! only i ask the important questions!"

"whoa, boasting i see? i get it, you want to win her favor but at least give me a chance, dumb girl!"

"h-how dare you... i will slice your-"

"rei, ren, is this how you behave to your empress?"

both women quickly threw the kotatsu and kneeled down to the floor and bowed. y/n shook her head and told them to raise their head. y/n nudged them to proceed and both pulled out a scroll with their reports written inside. she silently listen to them telling her the reports of a plan's progress.

"hey, how's that lady doing?" y/n asked them.

rei frowned a bit before clearing her throat. sending the germaphobe a pity glance, she decided to tell her the truth. ren looked at her twin and encouraged her to tell her now. the tension picking up between them as rei took a deep breath and opened hrr mouth to speak.

"y-y/n... she... um..."

"y/n, she lied to you-"

y/n groaned at them before scowled. rubbing her forehead, she let out a deep sigh. the twin trembled a bit but ren decided to step up, it's for y/n's safety and everyone else. the twin had witnessed how y/n slowly changed into a better person when her friends were around.

"this talk again? i told you two many times, and i hate to repeat myself. i won't back down from her plan. it's also beneficial for me" y/n sighed.

ren and rei shared a look before bowing again towards y/n, taking their leave before the empress needed their aid. y/n's appearance changed back to normal. after her bath, she went out of the bathroom in her new clean clothes. she heard a slight creak from her bed and y/n shot a look towards--

the person who was sitting on her mattress, gojo satoru himself. y/n noticed his changed demeanor, he wasn't this quiet unless... y/n sweatdropped at the possibility of his blank look she received. gritting her teeth, she sat on her chair and facing towards the teacher.

"what do you wan-"

not even letting her to finish, satoru stood up and walked towards y/n. the girl didn't even flinched at the sudden action. she knew what he's going to do anyway, the trust she easily build with him crumbled a bit. satoru took off his blindfold as he glared down at the girl.

"answer me, y/n-chan. are you a foe, or an ally?"
