Kazutora quickly turned back and held you. His lips met yours. But just as quickly as it started, it ended.
He broke away and jogged a few meters away before turning around and yelling, "that kiss means that you're now mine. Whether you like it or not."
You stayed still, frozen in your spot under the bright moon and pouring rain. Kazutora's figure slowly became smaller, and the sound of his earring jingling also grew faint. It was hard for you to process what had just happened. You never thought that he would leave like this.
"You might freeze out here in the rain [Y/n]."
The unfamiliar voice called you back down to Earth. You turned only to be face to face with the same person that you had bumped into on the street several days ago. The one that acted like nothing more than a bag of scum left out on the side of the road, abandoned and unwanted.
"First off, how the fuck do you know my name? Second, why are you here? Lastly, when did you start caring for me? You were the bitchied bastard back then. What, did you completely change personalities in the span of a few days?" Your words came out irritatedly.
The way he was able to stay calm only furthered your irritation. It was as if he was ignoring the genuineness of your questions.
"You just caught my interest [Y/n]. Even though I was so rude towards you that day, you left an impression on me and haven't left my mind since," he gave you a fake sincere smile.
"What the fuck.. that's creepy."
Possibilities of outcomes played in your head, along with percentage estimates of how likely they were to happen based on what you were about to do. You wanted to use the hairpin in your hair as a weapon if he advanced any closer at all. Ever since the incident with Mikey, even though you almost fully forgave him, you learned to become more cautious. Anytime that you would leave your house, even if it meant a small step, you would carry something to use just in case of an emergency.
