Autumn Faith saw the horizon. It was early. Still dawn. She walked across the field carrying a fruit basket in her hand.

She came towards her horse Hope, which was nearby. She took a bright red apple from the basket and brought it in front of Hope. The horse began to eat the apple.

Suddenly, a bright light, from a distance quite far above, shot down and struck the ground in a nearby part of the field. There was a loud noise as this happened. Yet, the light was not lightening and the noise was not thunder. Somehow, what had happened was more unusual. Even Hope was startled.

Autumn dropped the fruit basket and readied her bow, and placed an arrow in position, to shoot if and when required, to protect the safety of the members of her tribe.

She carefully approached the position where the ground had been struck. Things were quiet there at that moment, but then a whirring mist appeared, accompanied by a strange whizzing noise. Suddenly, a creature emerged from that spot. It looked larger than most men, despite not being noticable a moment ago.

But this was not even human. Not only that, but it was unlike many of the other creatures that Autumn had actually seen before.

The creature had three legs, and four arms. It's head had horns like a cow. It was wearing clothing as though it was a human. It wielded two axes.

It grinned and charged toward Autumn. Autumn quickly shot an arrow at the creature's face. But the arrow bounced off, doing insufficient damage to stop the creature's charge. It swung one axe against Autumn, but she quickly dodged the attack, while also quickly kicking one axe out of the hand of the creature. Autumn speedily grabbed the fallen axe. Which she used to defend against a second swing from the remaining axe of the creature. She had also managed to knock the second axe from its hand too. This time, Autumn also took the second fallen axe.

She shouted at the creature as if to intimidate it and show a sense of resilience against its attack.

The creature stepped back a few steps. A whizzing noise happened, accompanied by a whirring mist. The creature disappeared into that mist. Then, quiet. Then suddenly, a bright light shot up from the ground while there was a loud noise. That light went quickly to a distance quite far above, before vanishing.

Autumn, while still wielding two axes, exclaimed, "What the flying horses!"

She looked toward Hope, but noticed that the horse was slowly flying around.

Autumn said, "I didn't mean... The horse is literally flying?! ... Oh, I get it. Flying horse, strange creature, and I don't remember what happened before... except praying to Haydorel. The Dream God. Wow, this is a first. I've never experienced this before. Being in a dream but knowing I'm dreaming, at the same time. I must find Haydorel. He can help me learn how to get out of that weird spell that must have been cast by Kaltarad to put me in that strange place. And how I can finally defeat that evil mage, his monster and his minions"

She then looked toward the dawn horizon and said, "Haydorel? Hello?"
