"Hi, Wilhelm." Felice greeted the boy as the pair came to the saved seats at the table she shared with her mother, Sara, Simon, and their mother.

"Hi, Felice." he gave her a smile.

"Vera, I missed you today." Felice gave her a grin. "You ran off quickly after class."

Vera forced a smile. "I wanted to... call my mother and tell her I missed her."

"Oh, how sweet." Felices mother gave her a small smile.

"Momma, this is Wilhelm." Simon cleared his throat to introduce the two after they were accepted to sit down. "Wilhelm, this is Momma. I mean Linda."

"Hello, Linda. Wilhelm." the prince smiled, shaking her hand. "Pleasure to meet you."

"Nice to me you too." she smiled. Vera bit the inside of her mouth, waiting for someone to introduce her like they had him, just like she had waiting for Felice to greet her after she did Wilhelm.

"And Vera." Sara spoke up when she realized no one else would do it. "Vera, my mother, Linda."

The blonde reached across Wilhelm to shake her hand. "Sara talks about you all the time. So nice to meet you."

"Oh, you too." she smiled, sweetly. "Apparently i'm the only one here who doesn't know anybody."

A chuckle went across the table before Willie smiled. "Now you do."

"You become like family here." Felices father reassured her.

"So true. Do you still ride, Wilhelm?" Smysan asked the prince with a smile.

"Occasionally. I'm on the rowing team now." he nodded to her as the waitress refilled his glass of water.

"Yes, of course, just like Erik was." she smiled knowingly at him.

Simon noticed the way the parents, and even Felice, seemed to simply brush Vera to the side as much as they could. He watched her, seeing as though she kept forcing a smile but it had been clear she wanted to be anywhere but here. "Vera."

They had never even spoken outside of the one time in class when he pretty much shamed her for talking about Wellfare. Vera blinked, her eyes flickered toward Wilhelm before back to the boy. "Yes, Simon?"

"I saw you at the stables." he nodded his head, twisting his fork. "I was personally wondering if you we interested in horses."

His tone made her smile, because it had been so clear that he was shaming everyone around the table for ignoring her presence.

Vera tried not to grin as she spoke. "No, I just go to keep Sara and Felice company."

"Sara rides." Linda nodded with a grin toward her daughter across the table. Vera snuck a grin toward Simon as he gave her a subtle wink.
