"Where you seriously?" Vera looked over at Henry, riding in the back of the car. Her Mom had these cars purchased for meetings on the road, a divider that sound proofed the back seats. "When you said you did all this to protect me?"

Henry looked her way with a single nod. "Of course. I just was listening to Wilhelm."

"He said you tried really hard to keep Alexander in school." Vera nodded with a minor frown. "I'm sorry I was so rude to you about it."

"You should have been." he shrugged her way. "He's our... our other person. It's not just the two of us, it's all three. But I didn't know how I could protect you, your family, and Alexander all at the same time."

Vera nodded with a small sigh. "I just... miss both of you."

"I miss both of you, too." Henry nodded, reaching for her hand as she granted it to him. "He's probably so angry at me."

"I don't think he even knows what the word angry means." Vera joked, making Henry laugh. "Just tell him what you told me and all we can hope for is that he understands."

Henry nodded, glancing out the window in the dark. It was good they both changed, it would have been rather odd to show up at Alexander's in white gowns and flower crowns. Henry turned his head her way again. "How will it work?"

"We'll look for rocks and-" Vera began, stopping.

"Not that. The three of us." Henry cut her off, a shake of his head her way. "With you...the Princess. Don't think there's many three-ways in the royal family."

Vera didn't mean to laugh at what he said. "No, there isn't."

Henry waited for her to go on. Vera inhaled with a shake of her head. "I don't know. It's not...traditional."

Henry held her hand, the car slowing down. Vera met his eye. "We'll just see how this goes then try and figure it out on the way."

But Vera knew, deep down, it would never work unless her mother died and she became queen.

Turns out, it wasn't hard to get back on Alexander's good side. Vera knew it wouldn't be too hard, he'd simply been too kind and that heart of gold clearly couldn't say anything negative to Henry's apologizes. With locked doors and sound proofed rooms, the trio were perfectly fine to finally spend time together again. Vera leaned on her knee as she looked at the screen. "What about St.Marianna's? It's only twelve minutes away from Hillerska. Henry and I can literally have lunch with you every day."

"Let me see." Alexander scooted closed across his bed to look at his own computer. "Nope. Nu-uh."

Vera flashed a grin his way as he fell back against the pillows. "Why?"

"My cousin goes there. He will give me such a hard time." Alexander gave a knowing look her way. "I told you my dad already picked one for me."

"Yeah, but it's so far away. We're only gonna get to see you, like, every other weekend. It'll be like divorced parents." Vera have a pleading look, Henry walking from Alexander's closet, making it perfect for her to put an arm around him. "Do we look like we'd be good divorced parents? Absolutely not."
