Wanda watched the clouds fly by as the jet soared through the sky.

"Ten minutes to arrival," Natasha announced, herself and one of the Dora Milaje women piloting the jet from the front.

Steve sat in the seat beside Wanda, the pair quiet toward each other almost the whole ride. Steve finally broke the silence, "we'll get you back to him." He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled it, knowing if any people deserved happiness, it was these two. "I promise."

Wanda didn't turn from the window as she said, "we will all make it back."

She was scared. Yes, she had insane magic on her side. But she wasn't sure how she would hold up, being back inside that place.

Wanda inhaled sharply to keep her tears at bay- she needed to be strong for this mission; mentally and physically.

The jet touched down on a large island after flying over miles of water, the area they chose to land being the most secluded part in a huge forest.

The small army exited the jet and Wanda took a moment to look around at everyone of them. The king had come, along with the Dora Milaje and a few men she weren't sure who they were exactly. Then Natasha and Steve. She watched Natasha approach, the woman stopping in front of her and engulfing Wanda in a hug.

"Just don't think about what happened, think about what you want to happen. Focus on that. Be angry; use that anger, don't hold back." Natasha's words sent a chill down her spine.

She nodded against the woman's neck before they separated and smiled at one another reassuringly.

Steve and King T'Challa led them through miles of trees, taking small breaks to hydrate and rest their legs before continuing on. They easily avoided the triggers to every landmine James had pointed out and spotted each tree lookout. Wanda took the men out with ease, her magic sending them into deep sleeps, the others hiding their bodies in bushes around the area. After half an hour of walking they finally stopped their trek.

Wanda looked through a shrub they hid behind, seeing a simple chain link fence and miles and miles of empty space. She focused her eyes on the ground, seeing a gaping hole. That was where they escaped from, she recognized it as it was a deep pit where the jet had taken off from. Right on the other side of the open ground was a building. Nothing special as the main attraction was underground.

They went over the plan once more before everyone grouped up and went their separate ways.

Wanda was paired with Steve and King T'Challa. Their objective was finding the man in charge at all costs.

They headed to the right, leading them to the front door practically. They spied two towers on each side of the entrance gate, two men stationed at the top of each tower. Steve looked at Wanda, giving her a nod.

Red tendrils already snaked around her slender fingers. She took a deep breath, praying softly that she made it out of this alive, and sane.

The woman stepped into the clearing, feeling eyes and guns aiming at her chest. She reached out with her scarlet fingers and snatched the guns from each man, knocking both of them out with the butts of their own weapons. She knew her eyes were burning red. Waving her hand to the side, the gate was torn off its hinges and the bolted door to the building was crushed to nothing.

Wanda felt a satisfied smile curl at the corners of her mouth.

Her companions caught up with her and they ran inside as an alarm blared loudly.

Steve let Wanda lead, a situation odd to both of them but the smart move nonetheless.

Wanda could sense the warm bodies around her. She jerked her hand up, a scarlet shield of pure magic forming around the group as three men rounded the corner and started firing guns. The bullets bounced off the magic, becoming nothing but a melted pile of metal on the ground, sending waves of ripples in the shield. As soon as she heard the click of their guns all emptied, she sent the unfazed shield flying at the men and knocked them all out with a simple movement of her fingers. They fell to the ground, her magic floating in the air around them, dissipating like smoke.
