Killing the camera in her cell would be the first thing to do in order to escape the place. Taking out the guard placed in front of her door was the second. After that came the tricky part. She had to somehow get James and Clint out with her as well. But, there was also the matter of the cage trapping her abilities, stuck on her hands. She had tried biting it, slamming it into the solid walls, even tried to twitch her fingers; nothing happened and the prison for her hands stayed locked.A buzzer echoed outside her cell. A visitor, she blankly noted.
Bucky entered the cell, his metal hand curled in a fist. He looked as if he was trying to resist something, his face scrunched in angry determination. But, why?
Wanda stood up from the floor, watching with furrowed eyebrows as he neared her. "James, are you alright?" She whispered, confusion written across her worried face.
The metal fingers uncurled, only to roughly clamp down on her forearm. "тихо," was the one word he uttered before turning and not-so gently leading her from the cell.
Lights were dimmed around them, darkness around every corner they turned as they rushed down a hallway. Bucky rushed, she stumbled along behind him. Everything was too dark for Wanda to see anything. It all utterly confused her and if she was being honest, she wanted back in her cell, because something was most definitely off with Bucky.
When they finally stopped, Wanda was shoved into a small room. Her foot slammed into something hard, causing her to lose her balance. A calloused hand grabbed her wrist and righted her before she fell. The door slammed shut and the room was encased by darkness.
"я прошу прощения." His voice made shivers run down her spine, this was definitely not right.
Bucky's metal hand slipped around her neck, pinching down the fragile skin, but not hard enough to cut her air supply. Wanda's breathing sped up and she lifted her bound hands to his chest, shoving with all her might, he didn't budge.
"я прошу прощения." She wished she could understand what he was saying.
Warm breathing grazed at her lips, causing her heart to pick up speed. Her mind raced with questions, only one answer making sense — he was being controlled to do it. "No," her voice barely reached a whisper. Her throat dried up, but she didn't dare lick her lips.
The hand not trapping her throat pressed softly against her cheek, his fingers tickling her skin. "I don't underst—" His lips met hers, silencing her voice as her eyes widened. She tried shoving at his chest again, breaking their lips apart. "James, stop this. You can fight them." Wanda pleaded, wishing that had happened a much different way.
The hand loosened around her neck.
"Wanda?" His voice was rough, surprising Wanda for the forth time in the span of what felt like a minute. She sucked a breath in, nodding a bit. "I-I can't stop it, I'm so sorry." He sounded so defeated, his words breaking as he spoke. It made her heart tighten.
With a deep breath, she pressed her forehead to his, closing her eyes. "You can. Fight it, James. I believe in you."
She felt his breath as it hit her face at an uneven pace. Wanda stayed still as stone, letting the man get his breathing under control. He moved his face over, his lips grazing the tip of her ear. "This was a test," he informed her in a whisper, swallowing the saliva gathering in his mouth.
