"You're in my way."
Shoto glared as Enji leaned against the wall. He wore his hero suit, flames around his body and a frown on his face.
"You're acting disgracefully, Shoto," he said. Shoto continued walking, not wanting to deal with the man. "If you used the power in your left side, you would've had an overwhelming victory in the obstacle course and cavalry battle. Stop this childish rebellion already. You have a duty to surpass All Might. Do you understand?" Shoto didn't respond. "You're different from your siblings. You are my greatest masterpiece! Don't let something like Hiroshi distract you."
"Is that all you can say, you bastard?" Shoto's back was turned to his father as he spoke, hiding the scowl on his face. "You have no reaction to him being back? Him being alive?" Enji didn't speak. "I'll win and advance with just mum's power. I won't use your power when I fight."
Enji looked away.
"Even if that works for you now, you'll soon reach the limit of that power.

"Hiroshi? Shouldn't you be in the waiting room?"
Hiroshi sat in between Honenuki and Kodai, looking over the railing. Shoto and Sero stood at opposite ends of the stage, preparing for battle.
"I'll go after," he said, "I just wanna watch this match."
Kodai squinted her eyes at the boy. "What's happening with you? You've been acting strange around that Todoroki boy."
Hiroshi paused. "It's nothing."
"I've noticed it too," Honenuki said, "He keeps staring at you. And what you said to him in the cavalry battle... it felt odd. Do you know each other?"
"Kinda..."
"You got a crush on him or something?"
"Ew what? No, Tokage! That's gross!" Tokage laughed as Hiroshi gave her a disgusted look.
"I'm only joking," Tokage said, lightly slapping his chair, "You two actually look kinda similar. It'd be weird. Like those couples where you can't tell if they're siblings or not."
"Shut up, the match is starting."
"And now for the second match of the final! Ready!" Present Mic paused for dramatic effect. "START!"
Almost instantly, Sero captured Shoto with his tape. Swinging him towards the out of bounds line. Everyone was confused as Sero almost won. But then, Shoto suddenly stopped, ice bursting from his foot. Before anyone could even blink, a colossal iceberg covered the stadium. The ground shook from the sheer force. Everyone leaned back, their hands up in fear that they'd get hit.
"Sero, can you move?" Midnight asked, her voice shaky. Hiroshi couldn't see, but he figured she'd been caught in the ice.
"O-of course not..." A voice spoke, "Ow..."
"Sero is immobilized! Todoroki proceeds to the next round!"
"Class A is so overkill," Monoma mumbled.
The crowd was silent, still in shock. They really weren't expecting such a quick round. Finally someone yelled out.
"D-don't worry about it..."
"Don't worry about it!"
The rest of the audience quickly caught on, yelling out for Sero to not worry about it.
