45 : A Delivery of Love #22

Omega p. o. v.

As waiting Mr. Hunter and Mr. Tech cooked for dinner, I sat on the sofa with Miss Harmony by my side. I took breath and started to speak with her.

"Miss Harmony ?"

She immediately stared at me "Yes, Omega."

"Can I ask you something ?" She nodded "Anything."

"How's feeling like to have a father ?"

Miss Harmony immediately was surprised by my question "You don't know who's your father is ?" I sighed "Well, my mother said that I was born without a father."

Miss Harmony rubbed my back "I'm so sorry to hear that." I nodded. Soon after that, she started to explain "Have you ever heard that 'A father is a son's first hero and a daughter's first love' ? "

I nodded again "Yes, your sister, Miss Melody said like that at school." "A father is like a protector of his own family to keep them safe especially to his daughter. Some of the fathers can be strict but deep down, they really love his family so much."

Then she showed me some pictures of her with her twin sister and her father on her phone "Like my father, since my mother passed away after Melody and my birth, he becomes a single father. Even so, he tried his best to fill our needs and give all love he has for me and Melody."

"Wow, I never thought all the fathers have their own struggles." Miss Harmony put her hand on mine "That's why we should show them appreciate what they had done to raise us up. Every father, every mother, all of the people have their own stories."

I stared at Mr. Hunter and thought he did a lot things to do as fathers should do. At the time, we heard the door knock "I get it, Aunt Claire !" I heard Arrow opening the door and it turned out there were Hera, her parents."

"Hello, is this Mr. Tech's house ?" Mrs. Syndulla asked and Arrow nodded "Yes, you all may come in. Uncle Tech, you have guesses."

Hera immediately came to me "Omega !" I stood up and stared at her "Hera ! I'm so glad you're here." "Me too, should we practice now ?" Then I called Mr. Hunter "Mr. Hunter, can Hera and I have a practice for school ?"

He stared at us "Sure, Starbean." Mr. Harmony offered "I'll help them practice." He smiled "Thank you, Harmony." "We have an empty room here. This way." Arrow took us to the upstairs.

30 minutes later when me and Hera practice for school perform in 2 days. We overheard the argument of my new cousins "Leave me alone, Arrow ! I don't need everyone to see my ugly face !" "But Miles... " "I said leave me alone !"

Soon after that, Arrow showed up in the nursery room which it was supposed to be where my newborn cousin, Lorenzo sleep but Arrow said that he wants to hold by his mother so she let us to use this room.

Miss Harmony put her hand on Arrow's shoulder "Is everything alright, sweetie ?" Arrow shook her head as folding her arm so tight with her guilty feeling. "No, it's all my fault."

Miss Harmony comforted her "Let's talk about it somewhere else. Girls, I'll be back." Me and Hera just nodded as Miss Harmony and Arrow left the nursery room.

Hera asked "What is happening here ?" I just said "Mr. Crosshair's children having a hard time right now."

Crosshair p. o. v.

I just back home from my partrol and went to upstairs but arrived there, I saw Hunter's girlfriend, Harmony comfort my daughter.

I came to them "Miles still doesn't want to out ?" Arrow shook her head "No..." Harmony spoke with me "Your daughter told me what happened to your son. I'm really sorry for him."

I sighed "Yes. Since he has burns, his friends making fun of him because of that." "Crosshair, you have to be pantiece to him, helping him to be a strong man that you want to be. There a quote that... " "I know, Father is a son's first hero and a daughter's first love."

Harmony nodded as wiping Arrow's tears "Right now, he needs you as a hero who gives him a power to be brave."

Then we heard my wife just came home "Crossy, kids, I'm home !"

I rubbed Arrow's back "Arrow, why don't you come to mother ? I need to talk with your brother." Arrow nodded as left us. "I'll help Omega and her friend to practice." Harmony said and I entered the guess room where he and Arrow slept for temporary.

Miles yelled immediately as opened the door "Leave me alone !" I sat besides him "Miles, you can't isolating yourself like this forever. I know you hurt but it's been almost a week." Miles said as his tears in his eyes "How I supposed to be out when all friends away from me ? They even call me monster."

I put my arm around his shoulder "That means they don't know what somebody going through but even through they still making fun of you after you tell them what you had been through, they are not care about you."

"Then what should I do ?" Miles asked.

"You have to be brave of whatever you face of because life isn't always fair. Stick with your bravery and kindness you have because one day, they will regret what they have you been through because mostly they will walk on your shoes." I told him.

Miles asked "You really think so ?" "Absolutely. Right now, we still have your mother and your sister really care about you." He took breath and smiled at me "Thank you father." I nodded and gave him a hug.
