Mingyu's POV I've been a king and ruling the people by myself 7 years, I lost my parents from the tragic accident and I couldn't live the kingdom and people alone. Marriage? Not my thing, but I've been looking up to princess Y/N. She's the beautiful princess in the world so who wouldn't? I was having a quiet dinner by myself and talking with my thoughts.
"Your highness" My personal knight disturbed my thoughts and saw him bowing to me, I clean my mouth with a tissue and look at him. "What's wrong?" He looks at me and we were holding an eye contact. "People need a queen, they are wondering about your marriage" Do they? My people wanted me to get married a long time ago but it's not an easy task.
"You know my answer" He gives me a nod. "Ohh and.." "And what?" He gulps. "Princess Y/N is getting married in 2 months" I stand up from the seat immediately, what did he just say?
"Did you just say "married"?" He looks down on me. "Y-Yes sir" "With who?" "With-" He clears his throat "-With Mr Chae Hyungwon, your highness"
That can't be. No fucking way. I threw the glass out of frustration and everybody who was in the room flinched.
I thought her father could do better, I was having much more potential than Hyungwon. I've been ruling the kingdom at a young age while that prick only knows how to fuck.
You know what? I don't care what's gonna happen.
"You know what?" My knight was looking at me and he looked really nervous. "Tell my people that they might get a queen in two months" He was shocked. "B-But who's gonna be your highness?" I smirked. "Princess Y/N"
Y/N's POV My maids were getting me ready to go out and while doing so, I was looking myself on the mirror. Am I really gonna get married with Hyungwon? No, I will not let this slide.
"Your ready miss Y/N, you look so beautiful" I looked at the dress and she was right, I look beautiful, I look at them and give them a smile.
"Thank you for the hard work, you can go now" They were giving me a bow and walked away.
I looked myself once again on the mirror and thought to myself, Chae Hyungwon is too far to get the beautiful princess on his hands.

I go to the throne room and see my father sitting on his throne, I give him a bow with a smile and he smiles as well.
"Are you going out?" He asks, I look at him and say "Yes, with Blazer" Blazer is my male horse.
"Alright, but be careful" "I will, thanks for the concern"
I get outside of the castle and I see a knight bringing Blazer to me. "Do you want me to tag along princess?" He asks. "No, I wanna go alone" He gives me a nod and tells me to be careful, I hop on and give Blazer a tap.
"Let's go my boy"
I go to see the people and everybody was greeting as I was passing by.
"YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS"
"I LOVE YOU"
"I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR YOUR ENGAGEMENT, CONGRATS!"
Ohh you shouldn't have said that, suddenly Blazer stopped and I saw a lady standing in front of us.
"Your highness" She shows me her sweet smile and I smile back at her. "Would you love to have an apple? They are really sweet"
"Sure" I take the apple and give it a bite, wow it's indeed really sweet. "It's sweet like honey, I love it. Have a nice day ma'am" "Have a nice day as well my princess" She gives me a bow and Blazer continue to walk.
After I was finished to eat the apple one of my people insisted to throw it for me and I kindly gave it to them.
As I was still passing by, I was really happy to see my people working really hard for their lives and staying safe by my father's protection. But then, I saw him. The king.
"Your majesty" He turns around to face me, Kim Mingyu. The most beautiful and handsome man on the planet.
"My princess" He gives me a bow and looks up to me as I was with a horse.
"What are you doing here if I may ask?" I ask, he smiles lightly. "I'm just visiting" Really?
"I heard your announcement, your getting married in 2 months?" He laughs a bit. "I do, was my announcement so important?" He asks. "Well, it was shocking. Coming from you" He nods for agreement, I mean who wouldn't be shocked? He's 23 and still didn't get married AND he's completely alone.
"So who's the lucky princess?" He looked at me smirked. "Lucky?" I get off of my horse and we were holding an eye contact.
"Of course, your the best youngest king on the world. Every woman will be lucky" And he's better than Hyungwon, if only I could marry him. It would've been an easy way. "Your really kind my princess, although it's a shame that you have to get married with the prince Hyungwon" I crossed my arms.
"At least you know how I feel" He giggles. "Indeed I do, I know what he's capable of, but that's nothing" Suddenly a knight that was standing next with him all the time, whispered something to him.
"I'm sorry but I have to leave my princess, my people needs me" "Ohh sure, will I ever be able to see you again?" I uncross my arms and he smirks. "Of course princess" He grabs my hand and gives it a kiss. As he was leaving I suddenly felt a warmth on my hand. Wow that man is magical.
Author POV You was getting home as you was feeling tired and you see your father sitting on the throne, but this time he's look wasn't good.
"Did you see the king?" You was confused. "Kim Mingyu?" He sighs from the anger, you noticed what he meant. "Father, we just met and talked a bit"
"I know dear, I trust you. But your marrying with the prince Hyungwon, people might misunderstand you"
"He's getting married too, why can't people misunderstand him?" "Because he's a king Y/N, he has a power"
"Whatever, it's not like I wanted to get married with Hyungwon"
"Y/N!"
"You have a bad taste father" You go to your room without listening to him and he got really pissed.
"That girl-" He took a deep breath "like mother like daughter, so picky"
