It's been 3 days since I've gone "missing" and Mingyu would always take care of me and he barely leaves my side.
Well, of course I could understand that he has some work to do as a king but whenever he leaves one of his maids would always accompany me and they are really nice to me.
Right now, he's feeding me right before the medicine and he's always doing it in a careful way.
"Your so caring"
"I've started to be like that when I met you"
"Are you in love with me that much?"
"I'm crazy about you"
Whenever I talk with him I feel like I have nothing, although I'm still not clean from the poison.
"You know the doctor said to me that they were saving you just in time"
"Really? Could I be dead?"
"Yeah, Hyungwon put too much poison on the accident"
Too much poison? On accident?
"So, he didn't wanna kill me?"
"No, he just wanted you to be scared of him so you could stay with him"
Now I'm really angry with him.
"Now it makes me wanna kill him" He chuckled.
"Easy there princess, you are not okay" Right.
After I was done with the food he gives me a pill and a glass of water.
"Take this"
"Gosh I'll never get used to it, it really scares me"
"I know love, but you have to" I was taking the pill and swallow it with water.
Suddenly I started to get nauseous and he was giving me a bowl and I started to throw up.
"Good girl, let it out" He was holding my hair so it won't go to my face and after I was done I was feeling weak.
"Do I still have many days left to throw up?"
"I don't know, I will call the doctor to come check on you tomorrow"
"Can I sleep in your arms?"
Mingyu's POV
"Of course you can, you don't have to ask, just give me a second to change" She smiles.
"Alright" I went to change as fast as I could because I always wanted her to sleep on my arms, but I couldn't because she was really sick.
After I was done, I layed down next to her and pulled her closer to my body so she can lay down on my chest.
"This feels nice"
"Is it?"
"Mhmm, I missed your touch Mingyu"
My heart was feeling sick, I still can't believe that she's been through all of this by herself.
"I'm sorry, that I failed you"
"What do you mean?"
"I promised you that I will protect you but I didn't. And you are really hurt"
My voice was cracking because I was getting too emotional.
"Are you crying?" She looked up to me, shit Mingyu why are you doing this right now?
"I don't want you to regret for not saving me at that time"
She touched my cheek and she was wiping a tear that was coming out of my eye.
"Because you just saved me even if you were late, if it wasn't you I would've probably been dead"
I grabbed her body so she can be on top of me and I hugged her really tight, she was right. As much as I know, her father doesn't care about her. All he wants to do was just getting her married to Hyungwon and living her life by his rules.
"I'll never let you go, this was the biggest mistake of me to let you be with him"
"Mingyu.."
"I swear to go if they'll touch you again, my sword will touch their blood and it's gonna be dirty for decades"
As she was resting on my chest she could hear my heartbeat and she was gently rubbing my chest.
"Your so warm Mingyu" I kissed her head and put her back to bed carefully.
"Get some sleep princess, you are gonna be safe here"
"I know, I'm feeling it" I kissed her nose and she was giggling very cutely.
Soon, she fell asleep peacefully on my arms and I couldn't stop looking at her beautiful face.
"How could they do this to you? It really pains me to see you like that" I was gently caressing her hair out of her face so, I won't wake her up.
"I'm gonna make them feel the regret so bad, that they will get down on your knees with the blood on their faces and beg for mercy"
Your father's POV
As I was sitting on my throne and waiting my knights to get arrived, I saw one entering in with Hyungwon.
"Hyungwon? What brings you here?"
"He knows where your daughter is your majesty" Said the knight.
"And where could she be?"
"King Mingyu's palace" Said Hyungwon, I was standing up from my throne and I was really shocked.
"What? Did you see them? How do you know?" He cleared his throat.
"I found her letters from him on her room, I kept them just in case something will happen. They were seeing each other behind our backs"
So, all the time when she was coming back home after hanging out with her "friend".. Was Mingyu?
"And I knew that this would happen because she was always mentioning him of how good he is and always defending him when I was blaming him"
Shit! This man will never let my daughter alone.
"We're gonna visit him tomorrow, let's see if she's really staying there"
"But what if she does?"
"Whatever it is, you two must get married. The wedding is coming soon"
Author's POV
On the next day, the doctor was examining your condition meanwhile Mingyu was staying by your side.
"She's getting better and better, the biggest miracle is that she will go back to normal"
"Really?" Mingyu was shocked by the news but deep inside he was really happy.
"Yeah although the poison still didn't leave yet, she must get the pills for two another days"
"Can she somehow stand up or do anything?"
"Of course she can, but she must not be standing up for too long. She might get really nauseous"
"Okay doctor, thank you for everything"
"You don't have to thank me your majesty, that's my job"
After the doctor, you two were looking at each other with a smile and he was holding your hand.
"Your gonna get better"
"Yeah and I will go back to normal, no worries" He was kissing your head multiple times and you couldn't help but giggle.
