After I was having lunch with my father, he told me to wait for Hyungwon outside of the castle because he's coming soon.
And so I do what I was told, I was waiting for him and I saw the prince coming with his horse.
"Thank you for asking me out princess"
"Don't flatter yourself, I did that to make your parents happy"
He was getting off of his horse and the knight took it to take care of it.
"Are you ready to go now?"
"Yeah" I grab his arm and we started to take a walk.
As we were doing so, the people were looking at us and I was greeting them when they did.
"You should be greeting them Hyungwon, they are your people after all"
"There's no need princess, they already know who I am"
So rude.
"You should be responsible for once and be kind to them. They did nothing wrong"
"And? I have a power and everything is on my hands"
Jeez.
As we were walking and walking I saw Mingyu doing it as well.
"Hello your highness" I greeted him and bowed to him.
"Hello guys, it's great to see you here together"
Mingyu's POV
Actually I'm not happy to see them together but I have to play along.
"Hello your highness, what brings you here?" Hyungwon asked.
"I was just passing by, but it looks like you guys are busy"
I saw his arms going around on her waist and it makes my veins to pop up from the anger.
Suddenly, people started to yell and we all were looking around.
"What is happening?" He asked.
"Hyungwon, can you go and see what's happening?" Yes, you better go.
"Sure, I'll be right back" Finally he left.
We both were holding an eye contact with a smile and I was tying the robe from around her dress.
"Let me tie it up, because it feels looks like it will fall"
"Are you jealous?"
"Jealous that somebody else is touching my woman? Yes"
She was giggling by that comment.
As I was done I grabbed her waist and her hands were around my chest.
"But if he will do that something bad to you, I promise you, I will torture him so bad that he will wish to die"
Y/N's POV
He's so hot when he's protecting me like that, but why do I find this attractive?
We saw the prince coming back to us and we were letting us go.
"What happened?" Mingyu asked.
"The kids were running around and they accidentally got hit right where the apples were standing"
I smiled. "Kids are cute"
They both were staring at me right after saying that.
"What? It's true though" Hyungwon looked away from the annoyance, while Mingyu was looking at me with the smile.

When Mingyu needed to leave, Hyungwon and I were taking a walk for a bit and then we decided to go back.
"Thank you for taking a walk with me, it was really nice"
"You really don't want us to get along right?" I sighed.
"You know my answer" he nodded.
"Then as a future king you should know about my needs"
"I don't care about your needs, you can do whatever you want"
"Right, I'll take my leave then" he kissed my forehead and hops onto his horse to takes his leave.
"Eww" I said and went back to the castle.
Mingyu's POV
As I was getting back to the my kingdom one of my knights who was staying here comes towards me.
"Your majesty, we have bad news"
"What is it?"
"A whole family got murdered, but we captured the murderer by the neighbours help"
"Alright, bring him to me"
I was sitting on my throne and waiting for them to come with the murderer and then I heard a loud voice.
"Let me go, will ya? I swear I'll kill you all!"
Once he saw me with my furious look his eyes widened from the shock.
"Y-Your highness"
"Well well well, what do we have here? A murderer who killed an entire family"
"I-I can explain"
"Two adults and five kids tragic, isn't it?"
"I-I'm not well, I'm really sick. Please spare me"
"But you murdered people!" I started to yell and he bowed down on his knees from the fear.
"That pathetic excuse won't go anywhere!"
"P-Please spare me, I p-promise I won't get near to the people, p-please"
"Joshua!" One of my knights comes forward and bows to me.
"Yes your majesty" The murderer started to shake.
"Tell the people this. The murderer who killed two adults and five children for nothing, will get a punishment by getting his head with an axe"
"What? Y-Your majesty"
"That's from me for today" I stood up from the throne and started to walk away but I could still hear him panicking.
"No, p-please spare me. Don't kill me!"
Y/N's POV
My father and I were having a quiet dinner until the knight came in.
"Your majesty we have news" he bowed to us.
"Tell us"
"King Mingyu made a punishment for the killer of killing two adults with five kids by getting his head with an axe" Ohh.
"Alright you can leave now" the knight bowed again and walked away.
"How come Mingyu spread these news? It's not like he's doing those for the first time" I'm curious as well.
But then I remembered what he told me back then when I was taking a walk with Hyungwon.

Did he spread it just to show me that he can be capable of doing something like that?
What if.. Oh god
"Father don't we have a competition to attend for the next week?"
"We do, why are you asking that?"
"Nothing, just asking"
The truth is, I'm gonna have a battle with other princesses and I have to win.
I don't wanna show up as a weak princess and a future queen, I have to give my everything for my sake.
