After we got to his castle he insisted me to come in, so my knight and I agreed.
He was giving me a tour around his castle and he made me laugh a lot. He was really sweet and polite to me and he was treating me like I was a queen.
I swear if this man will ask me to get married I will say yes without hesitation.
Then he takes me to his bedroom and he tells everybody to come out of the room and give us some privacy. I didn't care from the moment and I was just looking around.
"Wow, your bedroom looks nice" He smiles.
"Thank you princess" He was coming closer to me and his hands were around his back.
"How is it between you and Hyungwon? Are you guys getting along?"
"Not really, I keep seeing him making out with his maids and that really pisses me off"
Mingyu's POV
You don't know how much I want to kill that prick, he has the whole princess with his hands and he's sleeping with his maids.
Unbelievable.
"I mean I don't really care of what he's been doing, but I'm afraid that he's gonna make a mess and everything will start to crumble" She was looking down to avoid the eye contact and she looked really sad.
"I don't wanna feel the regret and live my life like this"
"I understand you, ruling the kingdom is not an easy task" yeah, says the king that was becoming one of the age 17.
"At least you know" She looks so cute I can't bear with it to see her sad all day.
I was holding her hands and she was looking up to me, finally I can see her gorgeous dark eyes.
"You don't have to worry about it when you have me"
"What do you mean?" Her eye brow was raising up from the confusion.
"Do you remember when you asked me about my marriage? About who's gonna be my queen?" She gives me a nod. I need to tell her. Now or never.
"I didn't announce my future queen because she's engaged to someone else. And it's you" She was blinking many times and her mouth was a little open from the shock.
"Your majesty, do you like me?" She asked.
"I do"
Y/N's POV
I was really shocked, king Mingyu.. Likes me?
"Since when?" He smiles.
"It's been a long time ago princess. I've been always looking up to you because I always knew that you are gonna be the best"
I was shocked. So shocked that I didn't know what to say.
"It's okay if you don't feel the same, I will always respect my princess's decision" He let's go off my hand and turns around and I face his back. Before he leaves, I hug him behind his back and he's waist was wrapped around my hands.
"Please don't go, I feel the same" I let him go and he turns back to me and we were holding an eye contact.
"Then will you marry me on the wedding of your wedding?" I give him a nod and he grabs my legs and spins me around. I was hugging and we were both giggling and I felt my happiness coming back again.
After we had a conversation about it and had a tea together, I hop onto Blazer and he never stops to hold my hand.
"Can we take it slow though?" I asked.
"Of course we can my princess" We both were giggling and he kisses my hand while looking to me.
"Be careful while you are on the ride, send me a letter so I can know that you got back safe"
"Okay I will" My knight and I started to leave the castle and we were going back home.
Mingyu's POV
I was getting back to the throne room and I took a seat on my throne.
"Call everyone who's working here" One of my knights bowed to me and went out of the room.
A few minutes later, he came back with everyone and everybody was looking at me.
"As you all might know, princess Y/N doesn't love the prince Hyungwon. Right?"
"Yes sir" Said a knight.
I stood up from the throne and looked at everyone.
"So, she loves ME and I love her as well" Everybody started to get shocked and they started to gossip about it.
"Quite!" Everybody went silent immediately.
"In 2 months, the day they should get married and become the future king and queen. We will not let this slide, we will gonna get the princess so she can get married with me"
"Your highness, do you think it's right though?" One of my maids asked.
"Of course it's right, the prince is hopeless to become a king. It will be a big burden for the princess to live like this"
Everybody started to agree as they knew what they meant.
"We will announce the marriage and the future queen a few days before the wedding, but for now we must be silent, did you guys get it?"
"Yes sir!"
"Will you stay by my side and help me with that?"
"Yes sir!" Everybody was kneeling down on the knees for me. Good. That's how it should be.
Y/N's POV
After I was getting back home, I was rushed to get to the room because I didn't want my father to ask me multiple questions. But I was too late..
"Where do you think your going young lady?" I was on top of the stairs and I turned around to look at him. Play it cool Y/N.
"I'm going to the room, I'm really tired"
"Have you eaten?"
"Yeah, I ate dinner back there" He gives me a nod.
"Alright, you can go" Like I couldn't without your command, "king".
After I changed my dress into a nightgown I decided to write a letter for Mingyu.
"My king, I got back home safely. Don't get too stressed for me and get some rest"
I was out of my room and gave it to a knight.
"Give this to the King Mingyu and be careful. My father shouldn't know about this"
"Okay princess" He walks away and I was getting back to my room.
I think a hour has passed already? I don't know, I was reading a book before the sleep. But a knock disturbed me and I quickly went to open it.
"Your majesty, this is for you" He gives me an envelope and it was clearly from him.
I looked at the knight with a smile. "Thank you, you can get some rest"
He bowed to me and walks away, I closed the door behind me and quickly opened the envelope.
"My princess, I will always get stressed for you because you are not in my arms, but since you are safe. I'm happy"
I was smiling big from that letter and I felt like my heart was going to get exploded.
