Even after disagreeing a hundred times, I knew as much as I hated him, this mission surpassed all that. Wilson and I go way back, back when I worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. I mean I still did, but those were different times.

He was always that one tall muscular guy of the group, making all the jokes. The kind you should be attracted to. I may have been just an investigator for the EXO-7 Falcon but I had no idea I'd regret something to this extent.

I targeted the sniper right at Sitwell's tie, on Wilson's word. The feeling of him giving orders just aggravates me.

The plan was to get information about HYDRA, from Agent Jasper Sitwell, who, apparently is a HYDRA agent. I mean, we practically worked together and now I was pointing a sniper at this guy? Weird times.

And surprisingly, the plan worked. Steve Rogers kicked him onto a rooftop and he rolled on the floor like a tennis ball. And the fact that he was bald made it a 100x better.

"Tell me about Zola's algorithm." Steve Rogers said as he and Nat walked towards jittered Sitwell, who got up and put his glasses on in nervousness. "Never heard of it", he replied, walking backwards as Steve kept walking towards him. I stayed back, folding my arms, listening to the badass interrogation.

"What were you doing on the Lumerian Star?" Rogers asked.

"I was throwing up, I get sea sick." Sitwell remarked and at this point they were on the edge of the rooftop. Jasper, still walking backwards, stumbled and almost fell but Captain gripped his hands on his coat's lapels, pulled him up and looked him dead in the eye. Sitwell first looked worried but then suddenly smiled.

"Is this little display meant to insinuate that you can throw me off the roof?" he said and his smiled turned into a slight smirk. "'Cause it's really not your style, Rogers."

Steve let go of him. "You're right, it's not." he frowned.

"It's hers", he added and my lips turned into the biggest smile possible. Captain moved aside and Sitwell looked at Nat in horror as she, in the most graceful way, kicked him off the roof, without flinching. What could I say? She's Nat. And Sitwell screamed in the most irritating way ever.

Suddenly, something happened. I remembered the first time I got selected by S.H.I.E.L.D Academy. Interrogations, kicking ass, they taught everything in operations. What possibly went wrong? The big smile faded. Problem. What was the problem?

And then Wilson showed up.

...with the EXO-7 Falcon. Something in me snapped. I mean, I was already silent but still somehow I was at a loss of words. I just stared at him, but not him. I was staring at the EXO-7 Falcon.

Wilson was holding Sitwell like a bird holding a prey in it's claws. Jasper was barely hanging on, I might add. I would've felt bad but honestly? Screw that dude.
There went Sitwell rolling like a tennis ball again.

My ears went numb. Jasper Sitwell kept on blabbing...something but I couldn't get myself to focus on. I was just staring at Wilson. How could he? How could he go back to the very thing that destroyed everything I had?

His head turned towards me. I knew he saw that look in my eyes. The one that I shared that day, and all days to come.

Sam Wilson.
You screwed up big time.
