After I watched her standing by her window looking down at me, I could see the expression on her face and the sadness in her eyes.
Two weeks passed since that night and I patiently waited for her to come see me and I knew that things were different for her after learning about the death of her father but I needed her to know that I had nothing to do with his death and that I would always be here for her.
After being in the city for three weeks, she finally had visited me after her friend told her where I was staying.
Jacksyn: I am glad you came to see me...
Alora: I would have come sooner but I didn't think it was the right time...
Jacksyn: I asked you to come here so we can talk.
Alora: could we talk during dinner?
Jacksyn: whatever makes you feel comfortable...
We walked to a small place that was a couple blocks away from the hotel I was staying at, I knew that she didn't want to be alone to talk about things since she didn't know much about me but I was okay with talking here.
Alora: so what exactly do you want to talk about?
Jacksyn: I don't want to upset you but I heard about the passing of your father and wanted you to know that I have nothing to do with my Father's business and that I am here for you.
Alora: I didn't realize who you were until that night you invited to your family's house party, I was scared for my safety which is why I started avoiding you...
Jacksyn: I'm actually glad that you left when you did, my Father's personal bodyguard had been told about you being there that night and I was scared for you after he approached me about your presence, my father believes that you aren't a female and I haven't corrected him because I don't want him thinking that I have been in contact with you.
Alora: you're sweet for keeping me safe but I will have to eventually take over my Father's business since I'm his only child, I just hope it doesn't cause conflict with your father, I don't want any blood to be shed.
Jacksyn: there is a way to put a stop to my father's anger towards your family but I don't want to pressure you into anything that you aren't comfortable with.
Alora: what way would that be?
Jacksyn: the only thing that would stop my father's warpath would be us hooking up with each other...
Alora: and what if that doesn't work? I don't want to hook up and things don't work out like you're planning.
I understood her concern but I was willing to give it a shot so she could take over her Father's company without things going bad for her.
