Truth.
I woken up thinking that I was still being held against my will but found myself in the comfort of a soft bed with no memory of how I got here, the smell of food made me climb out of this bed and that was when I seen her standing in front of the stove cooking. I didn't want to alarm her but she had the look of a worried mother when she seen me.
Alora: I'm so glad you are awake, are you hungry?
Jacksyn: how did I get here?
Alora: I honestly don't know but you managed to make it to my front door before you collapsed and that was three days ago. What happened to you?
Jacksyn: I was being held against my will...turns out my father wasn't the one who had your father murdered, it was someone he paid to do the job, the same someone who didn't know that my father was dead but let me go when they found out about his death.
Alora: Gracyn told me that you looked rough, part of me didn't want to believe her but when you got here I become scared for you.
Jacksyn: I am glad you got away from there when you did.
Alora: I didn't have a choice but to leave, I was scared for my safety.
I gave her a confused look and I watched her lift her shirt up revealing her baby bump.
Jacksyn: when did you get pregnant?
Alora: that night we last seen each other, I know it was only several months ago now but its the reason I left, I didn't want the child growing up in a business like Vinny runs.
Jacksyn: I understand...
Alora: but enough about that, how are you feeling? Hungry I hope...
Jacksyn: I haven't eaten in a week or two now...
Alora: we can go get you some food and new clothes.
After we returned back to the apartment, I ate and washed up.
I walked out of the bathroom and seen her staring at my injuries and I didn't want to keep her worried but I sensed it when I seen her staring at them before I grabbed a bandage kit and sat down after handing her the bandages as she carefully placed them on the wounds.
Jacksyn: you don't have to be gentle Alora, they don't hurt that bad.
She remained silent and it got my attention, I turned around and pulled her close after she finished bandaging me up and heard her crying after she placed her face against my chest
Jacksyn: it's okay Alora...
Alora: I thought I lost you...
Jacksyn: I would never leave you...
Alora: I love you so much...
Jacksyn: I love you too...
