Just business.

Mr. Adkins: I hope you didn't have any issues Vinny.

Vinny: nothing that wasn't easily handled except my daughter knocked your son out but he should be fine.

Mr. Adkins: I will deal with my son later, did you bring her with you?

Vinny: she is here, I had my daughter take her to where Jacksyn is.

Mr. Adkins: very good and as promised here is what we agreed on.

I tossed him the envelope and watched as he slipped it into his jacket pocket

Vinny: what will happen with them?

Mr. Adkins: I will talk things over with Alora and my son will the importance of turning his back on family.

Vinny: I promised her father that I would make sure she wouldn't get hurt...

Mr. Adkins: relax Vinny, I will make sure no harm will come to her.

I waited for him to leave until I made my way to where my son and her were at, I seen her sitting next to him while she held an ice pack to his head.

Mr Adkins: I do believe you and my son have gotten yourselves in a mess.

Alora: what was discussed before you come here might be private for the time being.

Mr. Adkins: the last thing I wanted was to see your father being killed but you have to understand that it was all business.

Alora: what might be business for you has become personal to me, you will never get away with what you did.

Mr. Adkins: you certainly have your mother's attitude, tell me Alora what would happen if her life is ended right now?

Alora: she has nothing to do with this...

Mr. Adkins: and I suppose my son does?

Alora: we decided that enough innocent blood was spilled and decided on this, he just wants this to end and so do I...

Mr. Adkins: I will make you a deal Alora, if you and him leave the city now I promise that nobody else will get hurt.

Alora: and go where?

I wrote a check for fifty thousand dollars so they would have a roof over there head and I watched as she gently took it from my hand after I unlocked the door that was keeping them from leaving.

Mr. Adkins: there is a car waiting out front, the driver will take you out of the city and never return.

She ripped the check up and threw it in my direction.

Alora: I will never do as you say, you had my father killed and doesn't change things...

Mr. Adkins: you really are stubborn.

I watched as one of my hired guards pushed a gun into her face after she picked up the gun that Jacksyn was holding.
