After Alora let me know about giving Vinny a fake task, we carefully tracked his every move just to see where he went after leaving her place of business and it became apparent to us that he had been telling my father everything that happened with what was being planned by her and her father before his death occurred.
Alora: I can't believe he is helping your father, my dad treated him like family when he was turned away from every job he had.
Jacksyn: or he was working for my father the entire time and sent him to see what your father would do if he gave him a sob story.
Alora: amd to think he wanted you out of the picture, I wonder why he stuck around after all these years if he has been working for your father all along...
Jacksyn: perhaps he is the reason why your father was murdered...
Alora: I probably will never know but what I do know is that I have to find a way to end the partnership we both agreed on...
Jacksyn: if there isn't any paper work involved stating you both are working partners than he can't do anything about it.
I knew it was a long shot but after today, he was no longer allowed to help me continue with what my father never got to finish even if his death was Vinny's doings.
Alora: come on, we will head back to the office and erase any and all documents regarding Vinny.
I quickly took him by the hand as we slowly walked back to my car and drove away from this place.
We destroyed everything that had Vinny's signature on it, I wasn't about to let him help me take over the business knowing that he had turned his back on everything my father stood for.
I had finally disposed of the last piece of paperwork when I found a picture of my father and I when I was a teenager, I remember the day as if just had happened; it had been storming that night and our plans of getting a pizza after leaving the theater was ruined so we decided to stay home and I helped him organize his office while he caught up with some of his work...
I had quickly been brought back to reality by Jacksyn as I slowly felt a tear rolling down my face.
Jacksyn: are you okay?
Alora: yeah, just remembered something after I seen this photo.
Jacksyn: I don't know what you are going through but I am here for you. I wish I could have known him before tragedy struck.
Alora: I think he would have admired the courage that you have, he always encouraged everyone that he knew personally to be courageous and have a sense of adventure and to always fight for the things you want in life.
Jacksyn: he sounds like a great guy.
Alora: he truly was one of kind, I think it was why my mother loved him so much, there wasn't a memory that I don't remember that they wouldn't share a romantic evening together.
I was about to wipe the tears away from my eyes when Jacksyn took me by the hand and pulled me to my feet and held me close to him
Jacksyn: I truly am sorry for the pain you must be feeling with him not here.
I had gently laid my head on his chest after I wrapped my arms around his neck and feeling his wrapping around my body, I was enjoying the moment we were sharing until I heard him speaking up.
Vinny: well isn't this a sweet sight to behold...
