Chapter five

You get up and look at Daisy
"Guess you don't need my help anymore."
"Guess not"

Fury can tell it's getting a bit too crowded so he sends an energy blast down which knocks everyone down but gives Hulk enough time to redirect his anger at the downed Hydra agents but doesn't give much time to move out of the way.

After everyone is cleared and safe they make way back to the quinjet.
While you and Daisy walk back to your quinjet, you start wondering about stuff, so you say
"I think Nick and Clint are hiding something from me.i mean his team didn't even say a word to me cause Clint said something like 'can we do introductions after the mission at HQ?' And I said sure but when he said that he had like a nervous worried look on his face like he was scared to tell me who they were... I don't know, what do you think?"
Daisy has a suspicion that maybe the reason Clint was acting weird was because he knows something about your sister and friends... she hesitated before she finally says
"Do you think it could be possible that Clint might know something about your sister and your friends?"
You think for a second before saying
"Hey you know what I'm gonna go say hi to my adopter real quick"
Daisy knows you don't like talking about them because it makes you miss them and it hurts but she just shrugs it off knowing there is nothing she can do.
She then runs to catch up with you.
"You know this is a stupid idea right?"
"Yes but I don't care."
"What is it with you and death wish? Huh?"
You look at Daisy with a smirk before entering the avengers quinjet.

The Avengers Quinjet...

Everyone sits confused as to why you're just standing there looking at Nick while he has his back turned to you. He knows you're there because he knows the sound of his own daughters footsteps.
"I don't remember giving you a written invitation to board this quinjet."
"Yea no you didn't but I'm bored so I wanted to come say hi to you and your friends."
Nick turns around and gives you the pissed off annoyed look and says
"Well you've said it so get your ass off this jet, we'll see you at HQ"
Y/N stands there trying to read Nick to see if he's hiding something and after a few moments you could tell he was, cause he has a worry nervous look in his eyes
Y/N finally ask.
"I know you're hiding something so, what is it?"
Y/N asks in a serious tone.
Nick and Clint exchange looks you take notice.
"Wait so both of you know something?"
"Y/n there's nothi-"
"No Fury don't try and get out of this one you know I can read people like a book *slowly walks up to Fury* so.what.ARE.you.hiding?"
Nick knows when you call him Fury you're taking something seriously
"Ok yes I'm hiding something.. but can it wait until we get back to HQ?"
You hesitate but with a smile you say
"Sure thing...bye bye adopter see you later AvENgErs"
As you walk out Daisy smacks you in the back of the head you just laugh continue walking back to your guys jet.
"We're screwed Fury"
Clint says in a 'damn it' type tone.
Nick just sighs not knowing what to expect when he tells you but says
"How mad do you think she'll get Clint?"
"We'll think about it we've been keeping her family a secret for the past 6 years well I have you've known for what the past 13 years"
Nick takes a long sigh and says
"Well let's hope she doesn't go full super solider on our ass"
"Wait she has the serum?"
Tony asks
"She was taken by Hydra for a while.. she is the last known super solider"
"Great now there's 3...Steve? do you think she could know your buddy Barnes?"
"It's possible... how long ago was she there?"
"I don't know maybe 12 to 13 years ago"
Nick replies.
"I'll ask him when we get back"
Steve says which then leads to a few moments of silence before take off.

Back to Daisy and Y/N who are already on their quinjet headed back to HQ...

You are sitting up with George while Katana and Daisy are playing Slap Jack.
"Is my mom ok?"
"Yea why?"
Daisy knows that Katana can tell when you're not ok.
"You don't have to lie"
"Fury and uncle Clint are hiding something from her and my guess is that they know something about where her sister and her friends are so when I brought that up with her she just changed the subject"
As soon as Daisy finished she puts down a Jack.
Katana was fast but so was Daisy with a blink of an eye it was clear that Daisy had won...
As Katana's hand hand hit Daisys hand it caused daisy's thumb to dislocate which was normal but still hurt
"Ah shit!"
Daisy shouted
"Ouuu you said a bad word"
You get up and go over to them chuckling.
"You need to remember your strength Kat this happens everytime."
You laugh a little which causes Daisy to say with a serious face
"You mind helping me snap it back?"
"Yes ma'am"
You say with a slight chuckle
"Alright on 3. 1, 2-"
And you snap it back in place.
" I THOUGH YOU SAID ON 3 ASSHOLE!"
While saying the last part Daisy smacks you upside the head with the hand you just fixed which causes Daisy to say
"AH! FUCK"
You and Katana laugh so does Daisy which causes her to forget about the pain for a second
"Let me get the first aid"
You say...
After you patch Daisy up you say
"Maybe you're right"
Daisy look at you confirmed and shocked
"Did you just-"
"Don't get ok excited about it geez...I'm talking about what if you're right about Nick and Clint knowing something about them...what do you think?"
"I bet 20 bucks that's im right but if I'm wrong I double it and give you 40,deal?"
Daisy asks with her hand out...
"You're on!"
You say and shake her hand.

As soon as you, Daisy and katana land they say bye to George and head into HQ when they walk in they are greeting by Coulson.
"Welcome back Agent Stark and Johnson. I heard it was a successful mission was it not?"
You say "it indeed was" while handing him the hard drive."

Back to the Avengers...

They arrive and like always Clint sneaks off without notice
Fury is about to talk when he noticed Clint is gone.
"That sneaky son of a bitch"
Fury who is already stressed calmly says with a long sigh
"Follow me"

Clint sneaks off to try and the one and only Katana Stark.
Clint and Katana have a special bond like a father daughter type but minus the discipline which she rarely gets.
They cause chaos together they always get in trouble but they have fun doing it.
Right now Clint is going to 'abduct' Katana who is currently trailing slowly behind you and Daisy because she knows he's gonna get her.
Clint climbs through the vents Kat can hear him so he knows he's close.
With a mischievous smirk on her face Clint then drops and repels back up to the vents with her.
"Hey kid"
"Hey uncle Clint"
"You wanna cause trouble"
"Yes please"
Katana says in reply.

Back to Daisy and Y/N...

You heard the vent close.
"Those sneaky little bastards"
"Did you just call your daughter a little bastard?"
Daisy asked with a slight chuckle
"Yes I did..I have no regrets"
You say with a smug smile in reply to Daisys question.

Back to Clint and Katana...

As they make their way through the vents they spot the avengers approaching you and Daisy
"Y/N, stop"
Nick says..you stop and turn around dramatically slow.
"Dramatic much?"
Nick asks sarcastically
"I'm not dramatic ok"
Katana laughs a little and says
"She's sooo dramatic"
" she definitely is... hey Kat can I talk to you about something, but you gotta promise you're not gonna jump down and tell your mom ok?"
Clint was itching to tell someone so he figured since Kat can keep a secret might as well get it off his chest.
"Ok what is it?"
Clint hesitated before saying
"When I met your mom she was always so fixated on finding her sister and her friends that's all she would do.. flash forward a year and Al half later she gave up which she never does-"
"I know this uncle Clint is there a point or?"
"Yea ok um...around the same time Fury told me he had known where they were for the past 6 years and he begged me not to tell her. Come to find out he didn't have a reason to keep it from her..."
"We'll do you know them?"
"That's the thing...you see those three women right there?"
"Mhmm"
"They are who she's been looking for"
Clint and Kat look at each other before looking back down to their conversation
