Chapter 3

POV: Anthony

I made it to the city in about 3 hours.

I didn't have any break, I ran non stop.

I shifted at the end of the woods.

I looked around at the city.

It was huge. People everywhere, cars, tall buildings.

I left her here, for a month.

Imagine how scared she was. Hiding in an alley way, trying not to get caught. Hoping that i'll come.

Imagine how heart broken she was.

I shook my head. I can't cry now. I have to find her.

I ran around the city, sniffing the air. Looking at everything and everyone.

I stopped when I saw a paper on a pole about a found dog.

I ran over to it and ripped it off.

It was a picture of a white dog.

At the bottom. It had a number and that the dog goes by the name of Anna.

"Anna..."

I pulled out my cellphone and called the number.

A man picked up, "Hello?"

"Um, hi! I see that you have found my dog."

He said something away from the phone, "Anna, someone called!"

I heard a bark. That's Anna alright.

He laughed, "Do you have a pen and paper to write the address?"

"Umm... I don't need it. I'll be there in a minute to pick her up."

"Alright then! I'll get her ready!"

"Ok bye!"

"Bye!"

I hung up.

She is so smart!

I would have never thought of acting like a dog!

Wow, I really underestimated her.

I was about to put my phone away when it rung.

It was Ian.

I answered, "Hello?"

He yelled into the phone, "Where's Anna?!"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't play that card! Kalel told me that you went to find her! Also that you were in the hospital! When were you going to tell me?!"

"How about, never."

"She isn't just your daughter! We both agreed on adopting her!"

"Well, by the way you treated her, she is about just my daughter."

I hung up on him. I don't have the time.

I sniffed the paper. Trying to get a sent.

I got the scent.

I started following it.

It didn't take long till I got to a huge house.

I walked up and knocked on the door.

A man answered, "Are you here for Anna?"

I cleared my throat, "Yes. May I come in?"

"Yea, sure."

He opened the door and I walked in.

The whole place smelled like her. She is definitly here.

"Anna!" The man called.
