Chapter 20

I woke up to yelling.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was still at the house, on the couch. The crew and Kalel were yelling at each other, Ian being protected from Kalel by the crew.

Sohinki was leaning by me, with his eyes closed. He had his hands hovering over my body and moving them. They were glowing a bright purple.

I tried sitting up but cried out in pain.

Sohinki's eyes shot open, "Anthony?!"

I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to hide the tears, "Yea..."

I opened up my eyes to Kalel running over to me. She kneeled by my side, "Oh my god! You're ok!"

I nodded.

I looked at Sohinki, "What were you doing?"

"I was keeping you warm. You were going pale....but I see that it didn't work."

I looked at my arms and my body. I was pale as snow. "If I was buried in snow, you guys wouldn't be able to find me."

Sohinki laughed and I tried to, but had to stop because of the pain.

I looked over at the crew. They didn't leave Ian's side. Ian looked at me and back at Kalel.

I nodded and looked at Kalel, "What are you doing here?"

She wiped her eyes like she was crying, "I felt the pain and ran here."

"I thought you didn't care about me anymore." I had to look away. I couldn't bare to look at her anymore.

"I was just mad...."

I let out a shaky breath, "I...I think I need some time....alone...."

I sense hurtfulness. "W-what?"

"Losing Anna is really taking a toll on me and...I just need some time...."

"But I can help you. We can get through it....together..."

She went to grab my hand and I yanked it away, "I can't be with you and risk you going after Ian again."

"So you care more about him than me?!"

I hesitated, "Yes...."

She had hatetrid now.

She turned and looked at Ian. She got up and stormed toward him, "You did this! You took him away from me!" (By the way, I have no hate to Kalel. It's just how I planned the story to be like)

"Kalel! Stop!"

She just kept going, "I am defiantly going to kill you now..."

She threw the crew out of the way.

"Stop!"

I was sitting on the edge now. I have to get to him.

I can't let her destroy the last thing I love.

I only had seconds to decide.

"Don't you do it Anthony!" Sohinki yelled.

But it was too late.

I already shifted.

I howled in pain as I did but I didn't stop. I chased after Kalel and pounced on her.

"What the hell?!"

She looked up and saw me. "Anthony?"

I growled at her. "Don't touch him."

She nodded her head, "I always knew....you love him more than me...."

I growled more fiercely.
