Y/n POV

It took about a week until you were able to sleep sound at night. You had nightmares about the prison and Sam every night. Quackity did his best to make you comfortable within Las Nevadas.

Within the last week, you grew custom to Quackity's house and most of the buildings in the country. There was so much to see, but your mind always went back to the prison's cold, dark walls.

"Hey, can I come in?" Quackity peaked his head around your door that was half open. You were sitting on your bed reading one of the books you pulled from the shelf.

"Yeah, what's up?" You closed the book and set it in your lap.

"I'm heading into the Dream SMP community today. I'll be gone most of the day. I just wanted to let you know that everything is free reign, I don't mind if you walk around or anything." He leaned up against the door frame as he spoke.

"Well, thank you." You smiled, not breaking the eye contact. "I'll be sure to keep Las Nevadas safe when you're gone."

"I have no doubt you will. I will be back before the day ends."

You said your goodbyes and wish him well as he left. You watched Quackity ride his horse out of the country and into the desert out of your window. After he was out of sight, you made your way downstairs to wander the country.

Most of the buildings were finished, but there were still some under construction. You found yourself back at the sunflower field.  The memories of your mother and the times you spent with Wilbur flooded back all at once. You didn't cry, though, they made you smile.

"Hello!"

That voice.

That voice made your stomach drop and your head begin to spin. It was familiar, but softer than the original. You never thought you would hear it again.

"Wilbur..." You slowly turned around to see your brother standing there, his skin much paler than the last time you saw him.

"Hi!" He cheered, reaching his arms out. You ran to him and immediately began crying into his shoulder.

"Hi, Wilbur, hi... hi." You repeated, happier than ever. "You're here."

You held onto him as you thought back to the last time you spoke. You thought back to his last life.

"Y/n, your eye! What happened to your eye!" Ghostbur examined your stitched face. "Did someone hurt you?"

You ignored his questions. "Wilbur, you're here." You both went quiet.

"A sunflower!" Ghostbur said after a few moments of silence. "You love sunflowers, y/n."

"I do." You wiped your cheek. A smile formed on your face. "What are you doing here? How are you here? Wilbur, you have to tell me everything."

"I don't really know... I guess I just got lost. I saw a bunny on the edge of the desert, so I followed it. I wanted to pet it, but it kept running away. Then, I ended up here! Then, I saw you!" Ghostbur squeezed you one last time before letting go.

"A bunny? You followed a bunny?" You laughed, trying to keep yourself from crying again. "How are you here?"

Ghostbur took a few moments to respond. He thought for a couple of seconds before he gave an answer.

"I..." Ghostbur began to speak, but sounded very unsettled. "I guess I just have some finished business."

"Unfinished business? What unfinished business?"
