Y/n POV

You stabbed your baked potato with a fork as you spoke. "Ghostbur came by today..."

"Oh, really? That's... That's great! I guess." Quackity was sat across from you at the dining table. "Did you talk about anything?"

"I tried, but he didn't want to talk about much. He just told me how much he liked the sunflower field and my crown." You blew on the piece of potato before taking a bite.

"I'm sorry. I know how much you want answers. I'm sure Ghostbur will come around soon."

"I really don't like calling him Ghostbur, either. His name is Wilbur. My brother's name is Wilbur." You took a deep breath before you worked yourself up too much.

Quackity rested his fork on the table. "I understand. But, did he say how he got here? Las Nevadas isn't exactly out in the open."

You explained that Ghostbur had gotten lost by following a bunny. Though Quackity found that hilarious, he had some other news for you.

"I actually talked to Ghostbur today as well." Quackity cleared his throat after his sentence, looking down at his plate.

"What? When?" You quickly said, growing excited.

"When I was leaving the prison. He was wondering around the outside... just looking at it." He picked at his food then looked back at you.

A couple hours before...

"I should be back tomorrow, but I will let you know for sure." Quackity stopped outside the prison and turned to Sam.

"That's not a problem. As you said, just le- Is that Ghostbur?" Sam turned his gaze to the pale man standing at the corner of the prison, looking up at its large structure. "What is he doing over there?"

"I have no idea. I guess, let's go find out." Quackity rested Warden's Will on his shoulder as he approached Ghostbur. Sam followed close behind.

"Hey, buddy!" Quackity patted Ghostbur on the back as he approached him.

"Hi, Quackity!" Ghostbur quickly turned around with a smile. "What are you up to today?"

Quackity put the sword away and smiled as well. "I was about to ask you the same thing. How are you?"

"I'm great. I saw y/n just a little bit ago! I don't remember what we talked about, though..." Ghostbur went into deep thought, but quickly came out of it.

"Y/n? Where did you two talk? You told me earlier that y/n was at your house, but no one has been in there for a while." Sam crossed his arms over his chestplate, shifting his weight.

Ghostbur picked a blue cornflower out of the ground. "I just got back from Las Nevadas! I talked to y/n there. Quackity, there is a beautiful sunflower field. Flowers make me happy."

"Y/n is in Las Nevadas? Quackity, you lied? You told me you didn't know where she went after the escape." Sam turned to Quackity as he grew impatient.

"No, no, no, I don't know what Ghostbur is talking about. Y/n isn't at Las Nevadas." Quackity began to panic. "Ghostbur, I don't know what you're talking about. Y/n is not in Las Nevadas."

"Oh, maybe you're right. I'm sorry, I don't quite remember things..."

Quackity patted Ghostbur's shoulder once more, but this time it was more for condolence.

"Hey, no worries. It happens." Quackity looked over to his horse that was tied to a fence post. "I better get going, though. It was good seeing you, Ghostbur. I will see you sometime soon, Sam."
