Chapter 3

Raylas pov
For some reason I couldn't sleep I was being kept awake even though this was my day- er night off so I could sleep as much as I want. I grumbled, got up and shifted to wolf form, walked out of my room and saw the daemos boys all sleeping in rather uncomfortable looking position. I shrugged it off and went to go to Ava's room when one of them spoke making me jump a bit "why are you awake shouldn't you be asleep hellhound?" He asked in a deep voice I looked behind me to see him staring at me with a confused look.

"yes" I mumbled "and I have a name you know" I growled a bit and looked back at Ava's room.  "what is your name?" He asked curiously "huh?" I looked back at him in shock "your name. What is it?" I stared at him for a few seconds before smiling internally "it's Rayla" I said calmly turning back to Ava's room "goodnight then, lady Rayla" I turned back to look at him before going into avas room I could swear I saw him smiling but I might have just imagined in since I turned my head back as fast as I had looked at him, then again werewolves can see really well in the dark "good..night" I said back to him and with that I closed Ava's door with my tail.

Ava woke up and looked at me she was sleeping while hugging a pencil "what are you doing here?" She asked tiredly "can't sleep must be because of those demon guys" I answered nonchalantly shifting back to human form "heh come on then" she patted a spot on the bed and I felt my tail wag a little so I went to lay next to her "you know you don't need that, now that you have your own werewolf 'bodyguard' now" I said grabbing the pencil and tossing it away "your good for warmth too she said hugging me "oh so you think you can leach on my werewolf warmth hmm?" I giggled ruffling my little sisters hair, she laughed "that wasn't my intention but I must admit it is nice to do so if it means being warm" I laughed again "night sis" I whispered and fell back asleep.

When I woke up next I heard people talking when I opened my eyes I saw asch standing by the bed with a dagger I growled and shifted to wolf form grabbing him by his throat and pinning him down "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING" I snarled loudly, I heard one of them whisper "g-good job Rhys she's going to kill asch and the rest of us now" he said looking at me " You said she seemed nice!" He loudly whispered back "but she told us not to come in here" he whispered back seeing me pin asch down with a not so friendly look.

No one's pov

"She's going to kill me-"asch was about to say but got no further when pierce began to pet Rayla which stopped her growling and Ava fell back asleep. rayla turned around getting off of Asch and he stood up "I could have killed her you know" she growled at his comment "get out now" Rhys loudly whispered, we all left the room they then started whispering loudly about something Rayla couldn't quite catch and she didn't really care either.

She popped her AirPods in and began listening to music while making pancakes. As she was making pancakes she began to hum along with the song before feeling a warm presence behind her, she turned around and saw Rhys standing over her "what are you doing" he asked confused "I'm making food for you guys and Ava" she answered turning back to the pancake "fascinating may I help?" He sounded intrigued Rayla raised and eyebrow at him with a slight smile on her face "sure" she didn't seem to bothered by it, plus it would be nice to have someone helping out. When Rayla placed the pancakes on the counter Leif gave her a confused look "what is that?" He asked a bit puzzled "it's food eat it" she said a bit bored while scrolling through her phone

"It isn't any food I've seen before" he said a looked at it closely "is it poison" he asked Rayla rolled her eyes "no I was with her when she was making these pon-kakes she did not put any poison in them" Rayla chuckled when she heard Rhys attempt to say pancakes, They all grabbed a plate containing a pancake with syrup and began to eat, she noticed the dry blood on pierces wrist from when she attacked him yesterday, she didn't know why but she felt a little guilty, why did she feel guilty it's his fault for invading in the first place.

Rayla sighed and came by standing next to pierce "are you okay?" She asked a bit concerned, he tilted his head at her then she pointed to the large bite mark on his wrist he didn't seem to notice it because he seemed shocked when he saw the blood "yes." He answered and continued to eat when he was done Rayla grabbed him and lead him into the bathroom "prisoner where are you taking him!" Asch yelled "none of your business" she said annoyed and kneeled down on the bathroom door.

Rayla grabbed the bandages and rubbing alcohol as well as a cotton ball, she then turned to pierce with the contents in her hand "this might sting a little but I promise it will help" she dabbed the Cotten ball with rubbing alcohol and began to clean his wound, he hissed a bit but didn't try to pull his arm back. Once she was done she put all of the items back in there places "how do you feel?" She asked "better." He answered "wow you don't talk much huh" she said and laughed a bit.

"is that bad?" He asked confused "no it's fine" she said and smiled at him. She felt his hand on her head, he began to pet her on her head and soft ears, her tail began to wag until she heard a knock at the door "ray are you done in there yet?" It was Ava by her tone of voice she had just gotten up. Rayla opened the door to see a tired looking Ava "good morning sleepy head" Rayla said and laughed a bit "shush you" Ava grumbled.
