"i have a question." athena said later, as she and austin laid in her bed watching netflix.
"hmm?" austin replied.
"i know it was mentioned already but would you like to come back to australia with me? we're going next month for christmas." athena asked, hoping she didn't sound as nervous as she felt.
austin sat up.
"wait, really?" he questioned, eyes wide. "you want me to come home with you?"
"i mean, i figured we were serious enough, but if you don't think its time then that's okay with me." she smiled softly. austin shook his head quickly.
"no no no, i would love to. i'll have to talk to my family about it, but i would love to go back to australia with you."
"really?" athena mumbled, and austin nodded, leaning in to kiss her gently.
"of course." he grinned. "i couldn't think of anything i wanted more."
