Chapter Ten

Narrator's POV

Raph, Donnie and splinter stood on the dojo mats.

'its all your fault!'

Those four words from mikey where revolving around their minds and they were starting to feel a terrible guilt going through their guts.

Raph was the first one to move towards the dojo doors.

"Raph where are you going?" Donnie asked but never got an answer.

Raph quietly opened the dojo door and exited the dojo.

"My son... Would you mind going out of the dojo? There are somethings that I have to think about." Master splinter asked Donnie.

Donnie nodded. He knew that it was splinter's fault that leo left but he knew that their father was starting to feel sorry for what he had done. Donnie quietly exited the dojo and walked towards his room.

Splinter was left all alone in the dojo.

'what have I done?' splinter thought as a tear of guilt spiled down his cheek.

He loved saki like his own brother but the day they both made their separate way splinter was sad to lose his brother, though he didn't show it. As days passed the sadness that he felt towards his brother slowly changed into anger. He made a vow that he would protect his sons from the sadness that he has to face today. That day, when he saw Leonardo snap, it reminded him of the rivalry between him and his brother. He began pouring all the anger he had for saki on Leo. But now when he has taken the decision to disown his eldest son, he is beginning to think that he has made a terrible, horrible mistake.

Another tear spilt on splinter's cheek as he began thinking about all he had done.

Meanwhile the youngest turtle was sitting on the floor and leaning against his room's door. He was thinking about what had happened a few months back.

~flashback~

"Michelangelo!" Splinter called.

"Yes Sensei?" Mikey asked turning his attention from the video game towards splinter.

"Would you come to the dojo?" Splinter asked.

"Why?" Mikey asked splinter.

"I need to discuss something with you." Splinter said as Mikey nodded.

Mikey followed splinter into the dojo.

"Close the door behind you." Splinter said.

Mikey did as he was told and closed the door. He then sat infront of splinter.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about Sensei?" Mikey asked his father.

"I want you to stop being kind towards Leonardo." Master Splinter said coldly.

Mikey's eyes widened.

"Sensei I... I can't do that..." Mikey said lowering his head.

"You will do as I say or you will also get the same treatment that Leonardo has been getting." Splinter said frowning.

Mikey's eyes widened to the size of plates.

He knew how horribly leo was being treated and he didn't want to go through the same treatment.

He looked towards splinter and slowly nodded his head.

"Good." Splinter said "Now you may go."

Mikey exited the dojo with a sigh. As he was walking he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see leo.

"You ok mikey?" Leo asked with worried eyes.

Mikey closed his eyes and shook his head he threw Leo's hand off his shoulder and shouted.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

He then ran away as fast as he could leave behind a confused and sad leo.

~end of flashback~

'If only I had not agreed to splinter' Mikey thought as he sat on the floor.
