Chapter. 2 Camille

     I always walk through the forest on my way home from my job down in the village. I've known that the woods are tormented with a vampire but the vampire never bothers me so I've just always walked through here thinking the vampire had something better to do. As I'm walking in the darkness of the forest I hear a crunch. I freeze suddenly feeling like I'm being watched. My skin starts to crawl. I close my eyes and swallow trying to not show fear. "Hey" says a voice behind me "What's a pretty thing like you don't here? Don't you know that its dangerous?" I realize I was holding my breath, so I let out a shaky breath. I open my eyes and try to pull a weapon out from my sleeve, one of the perks of being a vampire hunter is that you can carry around lots of weapons. "Be careful before the night is done you might end on someone's plate" the voice says.  shit does she know my plan? I keep quite. I begin running in the opposite direction of my house. I hear something faint but I cant make out the words. 

     I feel something grab my wrist startled I turn to face a, pretty girl with beautiful purple hair. I cant think for a while. The weapon falls from my other hand and rolls onto the grass, crap I'm a vampire hunter and I cant even get enough courage to kill one vampire. "I'll give you one two three head start?" she says letting go of my wrist. I run , while running some sense starts to come back to me. My running starts to grow slower, and I'm beginning to run out of breath. She catches me again. "Four five six your fears intoxicating." I try to run away again but she grabs my wrist harder. I wince at the pain. "You can try to run it makes it all the more fun when I finally catch up to you." She lets go of my wrist. I let out another shaky breath before running. She catches me again "You mortals are so incredibly slow." she says. I shrug. I start to feel trapped. I've worked with so many vampires and killed them all but this one is different. She makes me feel nervous, like anything I do will be wrong. She grabs me by the hand and I start spinning. Is she dancing with me? She lets go of my hand and then catches me by the waist. "So little rabbit do you dance? Do you?" Says the vampire. She moves me forward. I'm to stunned to speak. What the fuck why is a fricking vampire dancing with its pray.

   The vampires antics are strange I admit.  And her question leaves me wondering what she meant. I try to move away from her but she catches up in matter of seconds. She's to fast while I'm stuck in slow motion. I gaze into her eyes and she grabs me by the hand and pulls me close to her. Her eyes sparkle in the moon light making it impossible to do anything but watch her. I close my eyes and swallow trying to think up a plan. She twirls me out. But this time instead of her pulling me back in I decide to play along. I dance along. She smiles wide. I cant help but smile with her, but I need to get out of here. I spin her close to me then with a forceful spin out I send her twirling into some bushes. Stupid bitch wasn't even watching. " I didn't live this long to be your dinner now its your move dirty human killer." I say to her running off into the woods to get home.
