unknown woke up in the field they had spawned in when demor killed them.

wait.. the same one??

struck with panic, they checked their communicator, looking at their remaining lives.

they felt a hole build up in their body, a worrying yet sickening feeling building up inside them as they looked behind them to see slime.

" why did you wander out here, boss?? " he asked. " i was worried!! didn't you like the.. the uh.. follow thingys?? "

unknown shook their head. " slime, please, i need to hide!! demor-demor killed me again!! for all we know, i could—! "

slimes eyes pondered over to roach, unknown doing the same as they all shared a panicked look.

roach quickly got out a potion, raising her arm up and stammering backwards. " STAY THERE!! DON'T COME CLOSER OR-.. I'LL THROW THIS AT YOU!! " she yelled, tightening her grip to make sure unknown wouldn't pull any tricks.

they smiled innocently, worry still wearing over her head as they clasped their hands together. " roach.. cmon!! we've been together for ages in this smp! the last thing i would do is hurt- kill you!! " they said, taking a slow step forward.

roach shrieked with fear, throwing down the potion in front of their feet and running backwards slightly.

they stumbled back, looking back at slime as their smile faded. " i-.. gah- m' not feelin' too good..- " unknown fell backwards, their trusty assistant catching them as they did.

" UNKNOWN!! WH-WHAT HAPPENED?! I THOUGHT.. THOUGHT ROACH WOULDN'T.. DO ANYthing.. " slime mumbled, tears clogging up his vision as he gripped onto unknown.

" you're not going to die, unknown. please- please just hang on, i can.. i can help. just don't die on me.. "

unknown spluttered as they felt the poison course through them, listening to slime sob and worry whilst he tried to help them stay alive. it was no use. it's over.

nobody loves you.
it's just an overreaction for a idiot like you.
he isn't even your friend.

they're in it for the pay check.

unknown pushed slimes hands away from them, smiling as they both stared at each other. " unknown-.. what're you doing-.. " he asked, finding the staring rather uncomfortable. they smiled wider.

slime follows it.

he sits there.

sobbing as he couldn't help but scream at the ground as, what seemed to be, his only friend dying right before him.

and roach stares at him. she stares at them.

the guilt builds.

it's only a matter of time.

before they all die in the end.
