"Ri, wake up."

I groaned, and rolled over in bed, covering my head with my blanket.

"Riles, wake up. We gotta leave in an hour."

"Fuck off Will, I'm tired." I mumbled, burrito-ing myself deeper into my blankets.

"Riley!" Swiftly, my pillow was ripped out from under my head and Will began whacking me with it.

I yelped. "Ah, fine!" I sat up and covered my eyes from the sunlight in my room. "I'm up, I'm up! Stop whacking me with the pillow Wilbur." I grumbled.

"What are you so tired for? It's only 10AM," Will asked, plopping the pillow back onto my bed. I stretched and yawned. "Tommy and Tubbo were teaching me how to play Valorant last night until 3AM." I looked over to Will's old PC set up that was now neatly organized on my desk.

"Ah. Nice, but Valorant? Really?" He snagged the pillow and bonked me again. "Now get ready." He practically skipped out of my room, probably excited to see his friends. I think that Niki might meet us there too.

Wilbur and I got into his car, and
he started driving.

"Where are we meeting them?" I asked, looking out the window glancing at the cars passing us, and the people in them.

"The pier. You know, with all the rides and stuff?"

I nodded. I had been there when I was younger with Mum, Dad and Will, but never really again, since it's sort of expensive to go on the rides.

"Cool, cool. What are we doing though? Do I just stand there while you guys film? Will they like me? Should I talk?" My knee was bouncing.

Will glanced and me and chuckled. He looked back at the road. "Are you nervous Ri?" He asked.

I gulped, and looked towards my hands. "Maybe, it's just like new people, you know?" I played with the hem of my sweater sleeve.

"Hey, it's okay. They're all really funny and sweet kids. It'll be Tommy, Tubbo, Niki, and Jack." He turned into a parking garage, and grabbed a parking ticket. "Don't be afraid to talk to them, they already adore you. I would just stay away from the camera lenses. And if fans come up to us, just stay near me."

Fans? I didn't even think about the possibility of fans coming up. I guess I forgot that they're all literally internet famous.

"Okay, I can do that. And, uh, Will?" I asked, as he pulled into a parking spot.

"Yeah, Ri?" He looked over to me while putting his wallet and keys in his jacket pockets.

"Why have you never told any of your best friends about me? Why am I a secret?" I looked at him quickly and then focused on my sweater hem again. I really wanted to know why he was so secretive about me, I mean it really felt like he was ashamed to have a sister.

"Oh..." He started, then paused, maybe to think. "Privacy, you know. I don't want it getting out and you getting bombarded with attention." He opened the car door but waited to get out, waiting for a response from me. He reached in the back of the car for his sweater.

"I guess that makes sense. It's just weird that you've never even mentioned you've had a sister to them." I shrugged and got out of the car, grabbing my phone off of the charger.

Will's phone started ringing. He pulled it out of his pocket, and held it to his ears. "You're where?" He asked. "Okay, we'll be there in 5 minutes."

He hung up and grinned. "They're here already, let's go."

We had walked up onto the boardwalk and strolled towards the pier entrance. There was a good amount of people out today, and the weather was perfect - the sun was shining but it wasn't too hot, where the grey sweatshirt I wore didn't make me overheat. I took in the view of the beach as the wind blew my hair.
