My door cracked open just a little bit. "Hey, you up?" Wilbur whispered through the door.

"Yeah, what's up?"

It was 5:45PM and I had just spent 2 hours binge watching Bob's Burgers.

It's been 4 days since Will and I had our ground rules conversation. Things had once again been sailing smoothly.

Will took me out to explore Brighton a bit yesterday, but otherwise, I mainly hung out here, since it's still July and there's no school, and on top of that, I have no friends here.

Usually Will is either streaming, or out running errands or meeting with his friends. I like that he doesn't mind my staying in.

"Do you maybe want to game with me and my friends? They want to meet you and I think I feel okay with it." Will offered.

"What are we gaming? I don't think my Macbook can run anything. My PC is at home."

"You can use my old PC. We're just going to play some Minecraft. You in?"

"Sure."

Will set me up with his old PC, some headphones, and a wireless mouse at the end of his desk. His "old set up" was far more upgraded than my current one. But then again, I just use mine for school and Sims.

It took us a bit, but he made me a Discord account too. I decided to keep my usual username going. I was now: rileyisdead#4437. Wilbur protested that my username was morbid, but I like it that way.

"Are you sure they actually want to talk to me, and they're not just trolling you?" I asked, hovering over the 'Join Server' button.

"I'm sure. They've heard a lot about you already. Two of them are your age, actually."

I raised my eyebrow and went to say more, but Will was already in the call. I joined the server, and then hopped into the call. There was chattering, and then it got silent. Will looked at me encouragingly.

"Hi." I said, immediately listening carefully for responses.

"Who's that?"

"Is that a WOMAN?"

"Oh, Wilbur is that your sister?"

Will laughed. "Yes, Tubbo, that's my sister."

"THE WOMAN SISTER."

"Guys, introduce yourselves please, don't just be weird." Will spoke, eyeing me.

"Hello, I'm Toby! But everyone calls me Tubbo!" Tubbo greeted in a friendly voice.

"THE TUBSTERRRR." The loud voice rang once again, then continued, but in a calmed voice. "Oh, and I'm Tommy."

"Hello, I'm Jack! Jack Manifold. You may know me for being incredibly popular on YouTube and Twitch. More popular than Tommy."

A loud screech came from what I assumed was Tommy.

"And I'm Niki! Hello, love! I've heard so many good things about you!" A softer, feminine voice in a difference accent than the rest rang.

"Hi guys, I'm Riley." I said, and then glanced at Wilbur, smirking. "You may know me as the better and more evolved Soot."

The VC erupted with laughter and Will attempted to defend himself, despite them all immediately going with it.

We loaded into Minecraft, a realm owned by Wilbur, labeled "Better than the DreamSMP" - whatever that meant.

It took me a bit to get used to the game again, I honestly hadn't played in a while. Will helped me build a house, but within 20 minutes Tommy burnt it down, which resulted in Niki, Will and I, chasing him, Jack and Tubbo down.
