𝐈 -Old Memories

----Three years ago----

When I woke up, I was beside him. His beautiful and peaceful face was resting on the same pillow as mine, inches from my face.

The glow of the morning light made him look like he's somewhere where worries and sadness don't even exist, and yet that was the day I left without any thoughts.

Downstairs, I could hear Tyler and Gray talking loudly about the new song they were writing. Honestly, they were arguing more than talking, but it was our routine and I enjoyed it.

I've never thought this life would've ever been mine. I've never expected that one day these guys will be the ones with whom I would start a career and start writing songs.

It does feel overwhelming sometimes how fast time goes, but it still feels like I'm stuck at the moment where our first song had just come out.

I remember that day, it was terrifying but at the same time draining. The adrenaline of just knowing that music wasn't only just a pastime, but something I wanted to do with my life was like I've finally found a purpose in life.

And the fact that I wasn't alone in this - that Aaron and the others were by my side was another type of feeling. Like, I was sure that I was no longer alone.

"Hey, grumpy ass, we need you - " The door quickly opened as I reached for the sheets that were covering only half of my body. Theo cut his sentence when he noticed that Aaron was still sleeping.

"No wonder why he's so tired with all the noise you two made last night." He chuckled while my cheeks turned red.

His eyes roamed all over my body and swiftly looked away with a smirk. The type of smirk that just confirms that he knew everything.

"What is it, Theo?"

"We need our songwriter." He said with a sly smile. "Coming." I said as I tried to move without waking Aaron, who was still sleeping like a baby.

I wanted to wake him up, but he hadn't slept much since last month. The business was keeping him awake day and night.

"Gray and Tyler are arguing, again, about the songs that we'll put on the album, but I thought you should be the one choosing, since you wrote most of them."

He leaned against the door frame, looking outside at the window. "And you know, these two are like children when it comes to making decisions."

They must've heard me because they responded a couple of seconds later. "We're not fucking children." They both said from downstairs.

I managed to move without disturbing Mr. Sleepy's head and put on the first shirt I saw on the floor.

"Children, that's what I'm saying." I said, following him outside the room, taking a quick look back in the room to see Aaron laying on his stomach, still asleep.
