Story: The Warrior Princess
Chapter Twelve: The Elf Adventures INote: This chapter switches between PoV's so I have mentioned them. Elves will not really be introduced in real in this chapter. This chapter mainly teases it. The continuation of this chapter will be named the same as this chapter but the part will be mentioned. Happy reading!
(Emma)
The five friends met up at the Valley of Blooms as planned. Dan had given Emma his former practice sword and Nixon had done the same to Austin. Ash owned a practice sword of her own so she was armed.
When Dan had written to Nixon about Emma solving the riddle, the Darffersons were pleasantly surprised and they appreciated the young princess. They wanted to test the two theories and so they embarked on an adventure the next day. Austin led the group to Dewdrop hill. Dan was unable to bring his royal horse, Blackie as only himself and Emma would fit on it. That would mean that the Darffersons and Austin would have to walk. He did not think it fair neither did Emma.
After a five minute walk from The Valley of Blooms, the group of five reached the foot of a very foggy mountain - Dewdrop Mountain.
The air was crisp and fresh. The grass felt soft and moist as the five friends walked on them. The atmosphere was filled with mist and they could not have a clear view of the cobbled, rocky path. It was very cold and wet. With chattering teeth, the five friends walked on. After ten long minutes, they reached halfway up. Dan looked around, squinting his eyes to look clearly.
"Where are we? How do we know where the elves are?" Dan asked.
"The elves are rumored to live in some mysterious cavern, once occupied by a prophetess... Mystrelia was her name I think," Nixon replied.
"Okay, I don't see any cavern. Let's continue," Ash said and they started trekking again with Ash, Nixon and Dan in the front, followed closely behind by Emma and Austin. The latter two were the most inexperienced when it came to defending themselves, so they stuck together behind the more experienced fighters.
Emma was looking around when they reached what they believed to be the top of the mountain when she heard a 'Ow!'. She looked forward and was extremely surprised to see her brother and her two best friends vanish on spot. "No! Brother! Ash! Prince Nixon! Austin!" she wailed.
"Yes, princess?" came the voice of Austin. She looked to her right and found him looking equally gobsmacked. "Are you there?" he asked.
"O! Yes, yes Austin. Are you alright?" she asked to make sure he was fine.
"I am, princess. Did you see what I saw? I-I just saw the other three disappear," Austin said, his voice cracking with fear.
"I saw it too! L-let's find the cavern. We can ask the elves to help us. I feel the aura of magic here," Emma said, hoping her voice sounded braver than she felt. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Austin nod. Emma extended her hand to the frightened shepherd. "Take my hand. We don't want to get separated since we are already separated." Austin nodded again and took her hand. Together, the now split group started trekking to an unknown cavern with nothing but two practice swords.

(Dan)
The group of three fell through a dark tunnel. Air blasted on their faces as they fell into nothingness. Dan hope . . . He wish he would see my future then. He could hear Ash's shrill scream as Nixon was trying to tell something. Dan flailed around, trying to find something to clutch onto but found nothing. He thought bitterly of the doom he was falling into.
