Chapter 14: Sub-zero Christmas

"Finally, we are safe and sound." Kengo gave a sigh outside the balcony of his home.

As the noon sunlight shone on the road outside Kengo's apartment, Kengo felt like a burden was lifted off from him. Haruki lived in a shared apartment with Kengo.

"Hey, could we finally get Ultraman Z and Ultraman Trigger back?" Kengo looked boredly at Haruki who was sweeping the floor.

"We couldn't. Hudram kept ours, we didn't have time to take them, he grabbed the things and ran away." Haruki said.

"How was Hiroyuki? Riku too." Kengo asked dreamily.

"They also couldn't get their items. But Hiroyuki punched Kirisaki so hard until that man's face was crushed, but still Kirisaki managed to run away." Haruki said.

"Do you fancy a lunch at home..." Kengo suggested.

"No, thanks." Haruki declined.

"Our friends said that we had truly lost our Ultraman powers. Carmeara said she didn't keep the stolen powers, and so did Ignis." Kengo continued.

"Don't tell me that our powers were devoured by some giant monster and completely digested in its stomach juices." Haruki's face turned pale.

Ignis still stayed in the same neighborhood as Carmeara.

Carmeara: "Jugglus Juggler is back to his former self as a villain, right before he becomes an antihero. Thanks to me, I made him back to evil. I kept him in check with a chip planted inside his neck aside from the usual brainwashing touch. Should Juggler rebels, the chip signals an alarm and a bomb will be detonated, killing him instantly."

Jugglus Juggler boredly stood swinging his sword back and forth, he hated listening to another villain's orders, but because he was brainwashed, he did not resist. He was captured by Hudram after losing a duel, then tortured by this guy until he could no longer resist, and finally had his mind controlled. Jugglus Juggler was also an acquaintance of several Ultramen, making him a noteworthy character.

Hiroyuki, Haruki and Kengo were in an empty room and practicing martial arts, they only wore their trousers while their upper bodies were unclothed. They were vigorously trying their efforts to exercise, and Hiroyuki was relieved as he reminisced about the day he grabbed his archenemy Kirisaki by the neck and punched him repeatedly until his face contorted and bruised. Haruki also joined the fight, but his opponent was the super-fast Hudram, Kengo confronted the super-strong Darrgon, and both Kengo and Haruki were defeated. Haruki wasn't so happy with the defeat, and he was determined to take both Hudram and Darrgon down.

At the same time, Ignis met Carmeara and whispered something in her ear.

"As it turns out, you're smart too. Ultraman Trigger and his friends are no longer a threat to us. Send the Spark Dolls somewhere far away, where no one can find them." Carmeara said.

The Ultramen's Spark Dolls had already been taken away and eaten by Tojitendo's Boccowaus. Ignis was bribed by Hudram with the Spark Dolls of the Ultramen, i.e. frozen and shrunken Ultramen, and Ignis sent them to both the Deadmans and Tojitendo to have them all liquidated.

Jugglus Juggler returned to Earth, he was accompanied by Kirisaki, Hudram, Darrgon, Carmeara and a bunch of robotic Valis Raider foot soldiers rebuilt and reprogrammed by Carmeara herself. The chip attached to the body of Jugglus Juggler was modified from a body part of the alien parasite Celebro, which Kirisaki and Carmeara created themselves.
