They did it. They kissed. Their first kiss together. Wait... Are they drunk over punch? I don't even know...

"It's time for Prom King and Prom Queen!" I heard the DJ shout. She walked from behind the DJ stand to the stand and received 2 envelopes.

"And the Prom King is..." The suspense killed me. I hope it isn't Tom and me... That would just be awkward.

"Jacob Graham!" I sighed with relief. I just hope I wasn't picked with him.

"And the Prom Queen is..." I crossed my fingers, slightly jumping up and down, my eyes closed.

"Nicole Kings!" I sighed with relief once again. But I'm happy for them. They both approached the stage together and they received their crowns. To take the mick, I went close to the stage and curtsied.

"Your majesties!" I said, smirking.

"Please, peasant, go and do your dirty work!" Nicole said to me jokingly.

"As you wish.." I skipped over to the punch and gave it her as she got off the stage. She took it and thanked me.

After that, "Chandelier" by Sia came on, and I see a girl at the back acting it out. Everyone crowded around her and watched her be the posessed girl in the video. It just made me cringe so I walked away and danced on the dance floor with my group of doofs.

I danced until my heart popped. It was such a wonderful feeling to be out partying again after being out surviving the wild for 12 months. But something happened...

I heard screaming in the bathroom. The screams of an innocent girl. It flooded my ears. I pushed my way through the crowd and found the bathroom. I looked inside. The girl was hiding in the bath. Who was this girl?

She looked up at me and breathed heavily. This girl seemed familiar. I'm sure that I've seen her before. She had brown air with hazel/brown eyes. She had a fringe and wasn't wearing makeup, well, not as much as most of the girls I've seen here. She looked at me, and finally, I clicked.

She was in my dream, but some dreams don't matter...

I pulled her out of the bath and instantly, she cried into my shoulder.

"Hey, are... Are you alright?" I gently grabbed her head and got her to look at me.

"No... I-I'm not" she said, wiping underneath her nose and eyes.

"What happened?"

"I was tricked into coming here." She said as she taken off her dress which was all muddy. Luckily, she had a pair of shorts and a vest top underneath.

"What happened to your dress?"

"That's partly what happened. My 'so called date to the prom', Joe, we was walking across the bridge infront of school, he pushed me into... Into the mud..." she set off crying again and I rubbed her back. She was really small. Smaller than Jessica, who is known to be the smallest in my form. This girl seems really upset.

"What's your name?"

"Ava" she said, trying to stop crying. "It's 11:15. I was meant to be home 15 minutes ago." She got her dress and folded it around her arm. She walked out and everyone laughed at her. My group came over to help.

"She's having a hard time and you're all shouting at her and cussing at her? What good people you are. Just leave the poor girl alone!" I shouted. The whole room went silent, but the music still played. Everyone kept on staring at us as we walked Ava out.

"Go on, get on with your little group chats!" I shouted. Everyone were talking again and drinking their punch. I saw Ava just about catch a bus home. She was so close.

There was
15 minutes until prom was over. So, I see Jacob and Nicole hand in hand, I still don't know if they're drunk over punch. Tom and I just linked and skipped towards our table, singing,

"We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard Ozzzzzz!" And we all sat down. I just busted out laughing of what Tom and I just did. I'm a weirdo. And people need to respect that. Wink wink...
