~Nicole's P.O.V~

I heard the door open and two soft voices speak to each other. One sounded of a Scouse, so it was bound to be Saidy's dad.

"Saidy, Nicole!" I heard a voice shout from the bottom of the stairs.

"Coming!" Saidy shouted back. She was still shaking from Slender man. To be honest I was quite paranoid that Slender man was at the door and was out to get the 4 of us. But I guess that's just my crappy instincts.

I gave Jacob a kiss before I went. We were going Roller City, but the boys had football practise. They have a match tonight and were allowed in for free. Teehee..

Saidy just gave them both a high five.

We were walking down the stairs and Saidy almost fell. She was still recovering. I quickly grabbed her and her dad looked at us like we were on drugs or something. Pfft... Totally...

"Is everything okay down here?" Jacob rushed down the stairs with Tom trailing behind him.

"Yeah, everything is fine." I said, going over to Jacob, giving him one last kiss. Saidy just stood there with her and Tom looking at each other awkwardly.

Saidy and I headed towards the car and the others were in the front window bay.

We had to head to my house first to get my money to rent out the skates and get my membership card.

Once I walked in the door I noticed the dog had been chewing on the pillow again. Saidy went and grabbed her.

"Naughty!" I pointed my finger at her. "No!" She started whining, which is a good thing because she knows what she has done. Saidy put her down and thrown her chew bone into the kitchen, causing the dog to run after it. Once she was in Saidy closed the door.

"Be right back." I headed upstairs to get my money while Saidy waited quietly downstairs. No one was home, so it was pretty much silent.

"Got it!" I shouted running down the stairs. When I got to the 3rd last stair I jumped to the landing.

"Even your membership card?"

"Yes. Now, lezze go!" I ran out of the door with Saidy trailing behind me. She got into the car while I locked up. Next up, Saidy's.

"What are you doing? You're meant to go '1, 2, glide!' Remember that technique okay?" Saidy said, showing me the technique. I'll be honest here, but I never really got taught to skate. I can skate, but every time I fall, about every 2-3 minutes. Saidy doesn't fall once! I don't get it...

I tried the 1, 2, glide! technique again and I was getting better. I go skating about once or twice a month with Saidy. If the boys aren't doing anything then they come too. Jacob always falls too, so I guess I'm not alone.

I seen this girl doing twists and turns and even skating backwards. No fair! *pouts*

We decided to go and get McDonalds. The good thing is, Saidy's Dad's workplace is literally right next to Roller City.

Once we grabbed our McDonalds from the drive thru, we headed back to Saidy's house. There were no sleepovers tonight. I had grease all over my fingers from the fries.

"Thanks for the ride home, Mr. Johnson." I said. Picking up my stuff.

"Just call me Darren." he said, giving me a wink. He comes over and gives me a hug.

"You be careful, alright?" I nod my head slowly.

"Are you sure you don't need a ride home?" He said, grabbing his keys.

"No, it's okay. It's only round the corner." I said, opening the front door. I waved to Saidy and her dad.

Without them knowing, I went to Jacob's house. When he opened the door, his eyes were red.

"Are you okay?" I stepped in the house.

"No." he wept. "It's Tom. We had a fight, and he almost fractured my knee." he said, wiping his eyes. I noticed one of them was in the middle of swelling up and bruising pretty badly.

"You need to go to the hospital. What has he done to you?" I said, hugging and kissing him.

"I don't know why he's done it, but he will pay."
