"Hello, Saidy." She said looking at me.
"...Tom..." she said, giving him a dirty look.
"Is Jacob in? Tom didn't mean to do what he did. They were play fighting." I said, letting go of his hand.
"Sure. He's right upstairs." She pointed towards the stairs and let us up.
I knocked on Jacob's room door and he shouted "come in!" I opened the door and said "hey"
"Hi, Saidy" he said, not even giving Tom eye contact.
"Listen, Jacob..." I said, sitting next to him on his bed.
"About... Whatever happened the other night... I don't know all the details, but Tom didn't mean to do any of those things. He didn't mean to punch you in the eye. He was meant to punch you in your cheek, but not so hard, and you turned and he got your eye. It was a complete mistake. Forgive him?"
"On one condition.." Jacob said, pausing his game on the PS3. Okay, now I know when things get serious when guys PAUSE their games...
"Only if you two will actually date some time."
"Um..." I said, looking at Jacob awkwardly. "About that..."
"No buts!" He said, getting back on to his game.
"No, it's just that we already are, dimwit" I said, chuckling.
"Well then, I guess he's back in the gang." He pauses his game again, gets up and does some sort of handshake with him. I don't understand boy logic. I never have, and I don't think I ever will.
They started holding a whispered conversation.
~Tom's P.O.V~
We held a mumbling conversation while Saidy sat on the bed, looking at us with a confused face.
"How are you and Nicole?" I said, smirking down at him.
"She's amazing. Fall in love with her every day all over again. You and Saidy a thing?"
"Think so, we was doing stuff at her house before..." Jacob started smirking.
"Ouhh, what KINDA stuff?" He said, smirking.
"EW NO NOT THAT STUFF JACOB!" I said, pushing him.
"Nothing to do with you!" I continued, tapping my nose. I walked over to Saidy and helped her up from the bed.
"We'd best be going now. In a bit mate" I said, walking with Saidy out of his room. We walked into the hall then out the front door.
"So, what were you guys talking about?" She asked me, swinging my hand up and down along with hers.
"Nothing to do with you. Boy talk."
"About girls..."
"No." I said, pffting at her.
"Well, that's normally what boy talk is."
"SHUSH! Child!" I said, putting my finger over her lip. "WE KNOW you have problems!" She just stared at my hand and wondered what I was doing to her. We walked back home and I came to her house for a bit.
"Wanna stay overnight or something?" She said. I wouldn't mind, but it's up to her mum and dad.
"Better ask, first!"
"Nawh, they let anyone stay whenever. Watch..." She walks down the hall a little infront of the living room entrance and shouts "Mum! Tom's staying tonight!"
"Okay hun, what do you want for tea? Want me to get some McDonalds or Nando's?"
I looked at her and we both shrugged.
"Want Nando's?" She said. I nodded.
"Nando's please Mum. We're going downstairs to set it all up. We have to go to Tom's and get his stuff after we've done this." she started heading towards the basement.
"Wanna watch a movie tonight?" She said, grabbing some blankets.
"Sure. What is there to watch?" I said, pushing the couch over so then the blanket could reach.
"We'll think about that at the time." She said, putting the blanket over the couch and over the top of the tv, making a roof. I grabbed some blankets and put them on the side. I then got 2 blankets and put them on the inside. One on the floor and one folded over it, this one we can get into. Some pillows went over it aswell.
"We going to your house?" She said, putting her jacket down and taking her phone out of the pocket.
"Sure." I said, coming out of the den.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After coming back from my house to get my stuff we both got changed. We got into the den and got Saidy's phone to pick a movie. Our Nando's arrived at the same time we got back, so we dug in to that.
"Hmmm... what movies..." she said, scrolling through Netflix.
"I've got it!" She said. "How about this?"
A movie started, called Ouija. It is meant to be a horror. I've watched this before but she said that she hasn't. Fair enough. I'll watch it for her, cause I love her.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
We finished our Nando's and carried on watching the film.
It was three quarters way through the film and Saidy got scared. She got a pillow and hid behind it. I got quite scared, but I can bare it. She seen a ghost and screamed. She is scared of poltergeists and ghosts, so she screamed and hid behind her pillow still. I hugged her, telling her everything will be okay. She was shaking."Why did you want to watch this?" I said, kissing her forehead.
"Because I-I like horror movies." She said, stuttering over fear.
"It's okay, I'm here." I put her head against my chest and hushed her. She eventually want to sleep. I gently picked her up and put her on the couch, putting the blanket over her, I behind her with my arms round her. She'll be okay in the morning
