What. The. Heck. This house was definitely not mine! Maybe it belonged to this body? I had no clue, but at least there were clothes that fit.

The only thing was that his fashion sense... it was seriously bad! Even I, who was an exceptionally average person had better fashion sense than him!

Everything was black, black, black, black and then more black! Was he an emo or goth or something?

Seriously, something had to be wrong with this dude. How in the world was he comfortable wearing only this? Have some taste will ya!

Looking at other things-not his fashion- he seemed to be a semi-normal guy. His house was regular sized, about nineteen-hundred square feet. It was a beige color on the outside, with four bedrooms, three used and one guest.

The kitchen was a nice size as well, with a large stove, marble island, pantry, and two rows of cabinets. Not to mention the other rooms. One master bedroom with two decent sized rooms, which seemed to belong to this body and one other person.

Which meant, he lived with family! How on Earth was I supposed to explain this?! I paced around the bedroom. What did I do? How would I interact with his family? Did I tell them, "Tee-Hee! It seems I possessed your son's body! My bad!" or would I run away?

Run away with what? This person didn't have a lick of cash on him or in his room. Great, this body was dead broke. That ruled out the option of running. Confrontation? Absolutely not! I might get sent to a prison or something just as awful! No way was I telling them!

That meant I could either pretend to be their son or... I didn't know. Acting was my only remaining option. What luck that I had to act, because it wasn't like I was extremely readable whenever I acted!

Whatever, as long I played my part decently well, I would be okay. Since he only had black clothing, it was safe to assume that he was a shut-in teenager. He looked to be around fifteen to sixteen. Around Eric's age.

The sudden thought of Eric sent chills throughout my entire body. That scum! Why was I even thinking of him at a time like this?

I chanted to myself,

ERASE ALL THOUGHTS OF ERIC! ABANDON EVERY THOUGHT ABOUT HIM! FOCUS ON EVERYTHING THAT ISN'T ERIC!

The mantra seemed to work, because I soon was able to focus on the task at hand. Lovely, back to what I was figuring out earlier.

Since this guy seemed to be that of a shut-in teenager, I could use that to my advantage and throw a tantrum, saying something about me not wanting to come out of my room and stay in there until I figured out who exactly this guy was.

I spent all afternoon brainstorming and planning what I was going to do next. During that time, I found his phone, which unfortunately didn't open with Face ID, so I was stuck guessing passwords.

As I ventured around the room, exploring every nook and cranny in existence, the front door opened, allowing a member(?) of this body's family into the house.

"Itzal?" A feminine voice  said. "Are you alive? You here?"

I hesitated to answer. Should I or should I not? Either one was risky, so it was a fifty-fifty.

"I'm alive, and here." I said as I opened  bedroom door.

Whoah... his voice was so different from mine! It was going to be difficult to get used to, when every time I opened my mouth, a deep, rich sounding voice came out.

"Wait... Itzal... you replied!" She squealed. "You aren't dead! I was worried since I hadn't head back from you recently! Though, it would be a load off of my hands if you went and died in a ditch somewhere, but ignoring that small fact, I was worried. Since you know, if you died our entire plan would fall to ruin!"

This woman... she looked and sounded familiar, but I would have remembered if I had run into a beauty of her caliber. Her long blonde locks of flowing hair, paired with crystal clear blue eyes. Her figure was top notch too! A slim body that every girl and guy would fall for.

Where exactly had the ordinary me seen such a person? Definitely not at school or else I would have recognized her on the spot. Where, just where had I met her?

I scrolled through my memories, but nothing came to mind. Where and when had I seen her before?

"Hey, Itzal! Are you even listening to me? Hello in there!" She waved her hand in front of my face.

"Hmm? What" I said.

"Ugh, did you hear any of what I just told you?" She asked.

"Er... No?"

"Tch. Whatever, here. I'll just give you this and leave, but remember, we have a mission coming up soon. Stay in touch, or at the very least, be reachable." She told me as she walked out the door.

What she handed me was a notebook, and when I picked it up I realized that it was actually a passport inside a notebook. A student ID fell out too.

Perfect! Now I had all of this body's contact info, which meant I could navigate life with more ease.

"Oh wait, I forgot to tell you something." She said as she popped back in. "Eric told me to tell you to give him a call."

"Ah, okay..." I replied.

Wait... Eric? As in the Eric? The very same one who killed me? Him? Now it all made sense. She was the girl I saw with him that day!

Target number two acquired.
