By the time the Eric and Mariah found me, I had ended my little fit of insanity. My first time killing had gone quite well. I had permanently disposed of trash, and was feeling good due to that. However, Eric and Mariah were astounded to see the aftermath of my battle, or massacre.

"Good job Itzal! That was the fastest job ever. You killed everyone on the list in one go." Eric praised.

Mariah pouted in the corner, sad that Eric wasn't praising her and was praising me instead. I knew that later Mariah would have it in for me. Why should I care? She was just a big sissy who was jealous over someone who had no intention of getting in her way.

I didn't want Eric romantically. No, I wanted him knelling on the ground, begging for mercy before his death. His death wouldn't be painless either. I would make sure that he suffered a long time, until he eventually died.

I giggled to myself, thinking about ways to kill him. Eric kept on praising me, unaware that he was praising his future reaper. Oh, how fun it would be to spring that fact on him, to have his best friend kill him.

"Are we going to call Note now? This stench of death is really unpleasant. We should get Note to dispose of them now." Mariah interrupted.

I glared at her for reasons she wasn't aware of, and outwardly, agreed with her.

"Yeah, we can't have someone stumbling upon this place and leading it back to us." I agreed.

Eric left the building and called Note to send him all of the information about the case, as well as where the bodies were located, leaving Mariah and I alone.

"Ho-ho. You think you are so special all because Eric praised you one time." She sneered. "I've been praised so many more times than you can possibly imagine."

"I don't get what he sees in scum like you. A possessive woman who contributes to nothing. A piece of useless trash that hangs around him like a parasite." I scoffed. "Maybe he decided to date you because he felt sorry for you."

Her face turned bright red, and made her look even uglier than she was normally. I laughed loudly, which only added to the fire.

"One day, when you least expect it, I will kill you. I'll kill you right after I expose your true nature to Eric." She growled.

"Expose my true nature? You could only do that after exposing yourself first. I wonder what he would do when he realized that his sweet, lovely Mariah was actually a backstabbing witch?" I jeered.

Lacking a comeback to what I had just said, she hurriedly stormed out of the room. Even if I didn't hate her in the same way that I hated Eric, making fun of her was extremely soothing. Being around these made me feel like I was on top of the world, controlling them like puppets.

Between tricking the two, toying with Mariah, and wiping out the other murders, I was enjoying my stay as Itzal quite a bit. I hadn't even begin to think about what I would do afterwards.

"Itzal, are you coming out?" Eric asked.

"Coming!" I replied.

I jogged out to meet up with the others, a pleasant expression on my face. Mariah was shocked to see this, but Eric just thought that I was happy for completing the mission quickly and without any troubles in between.

We went back to the building that we came from earlier and relaxed in the den on the couch after changing back into our regular clothes. Despite what I had thought earlier, the furniture in here was actually quite comfy.

"Itzal, about Victoria..." Eric started.

Mariah's head whipped around when she heard another female's name. Jeez, was she out to get anyone who he met?
