Y/N had just woke up and noticed Lily was still asleep. She checked her alarm and saw the time was 9 am. Y/N didn't care about waking up kind of late considering it was Saturday. Y/N woke up Lily so, they could go to breakfast together. "Lily, wake up. It's 9 o'clock we need to get breakfast." Y/N spoke
"Alright, coming." Lily replied getting out of bed and putting a sweatshirt on.
Y/N grabbed a hoodie and put it on as they headed to the Great Hall. They walked into the Great Hall and saw Regulus sitting with the boys. "Lily, you go ahead to the boys. I'm going to try to talk to Severus. Please distract them." Y/N spoke, Lily nodded and headed towards the Gryffindor table as Y/N headed towards the Slytherin table. "Hey Severus." Y/N spoke
"Hey Y/N, I thought your brother and his friends didn't want you to be friends with me or be anywhere near me." Severus replied reading a book whilst eating his breakfast.
"I don't give a shit about what James says. I can make my own decisions." Y/N replied sitting next to him
"Well, I'm glad. You are actually pretty nice." Severus replied
"Thanks, your nice too. When you want to be." Y/N replied
They continued to talk until the Marauders walked over to the table and Lily mouthed 'sorry' from the Gryffindor table in Y/N's direction. "Y/N. I thought I said you were supposed to stop being friends with him." James spoke with an annoyed tone
"I can make my own decisions. I'm older, so I should be the one to tell you what to do. Not the other way around." Y/N replied and walked away out into the courtyard annoyed. Y/N could hear Severus stand up and follow her.
"Are you alright?" Severus asked
"Yeah, I'm just sick of him telling me what to do. I mean I'm older twin, I should be the one telling him what to do. Not the other way around." Y/N replied
"I'm sorry." Severus spoke
"Don't be sorry Severus, its not your fault." Y/N spoke
Severus gave Y/N a hug and said "Thank you, for being my friend. I'm glad to be friends with you."
"No problem. I'm glad I'm friends with you too." Y/N replied hugging him back "I should probably get back to my dorm to get stuff organised for the first day of school and get books from the library." Y/N added pulling away from the hug
"Ok, I will see you later then." Severus replied
"Bye." Y/N spoke walking off to her dorm
Once Y/N arrived at the common room Y/N saw the boys talking. James tried to speak to Y/N but she just ignored him and walked straight towards her dorm room. Y/N entered the room and saw Lily on her bed reading. "Hey." Y/N spoke shutting the dorm room door behind her and walking towards her bed.
"Hey, you alright?" Lily asked
"Yeah, it's just that James is annoying the living shit out of me." Y/N replied sitting on her bed
"I'm assuming it's because of Severus that he is being annoying?" Lily asked
"Yep, he hates that I'm friends with him. I mean, I'm older. I should be telling him what to do." Y/N replied back on her bed
"I know, my sister still hates me for being magic." Lily spoke
"Yeah, well your sister is kind of a bitch." Y/N chuckled
"I know." Lily replied with a giggle
They continued to talk until it was time for the dinner feast. Y/N was dreading it because she had to see James and hear him try to convince her not to be friends with Severus again. They headed down to the Great Hall before them so Y/N and Lily had to walk past James in the common room. Y/N didn't want to but she was hungry and wanted to eat dinner.
