"I think she is pissed at you." Sirius spoke
"Yeah, I don't blame her. I keep telling her who to be friends with when she can make her own decisions." James replied
"Well, maybe if you tell her you will stop telling her who she can talk to and be friends with then she might not hate you anymore." Remus suggested
"Yeah, you're right Remus." James spoke
"Well, I am the smart one of your group not including Y/N. You all are dumbasses." Remus spoke
"Rude." Peter spoke
"But it's true." Sirius spoke
"Yeah, I know." Peter replied
They continued to talk until they had to go to the Great Hall for the dinner feast. They knew it was time for dinner because Lily and Y/N walked past them. They headed down to the Great Hall and James could tell Y/N got annoyed when she saw James walk into the hall. James sat next to Y/N so they had to talk. James saw her roll her eyes as he sat down next to Y/N. "Y/N, you have to talk to me at some point." James spoke
Y/N just ignored James and pretended that he wasn't there. "Y/N, I know you hate me for telling you that you couldn't be friends with Severus and I'm sorry. I don't care who you're friends with. I only care if you're happy or not." James spoke
"I forgive you, but tell me who to be friends with again and I will beat the shit out of you." Y/N replied
"Alright, I promise I won't tell you who to be friends with." James replied giving her a side hug
"Good." She replied hugging me back
The entire hall had gotten quiet when Dumbledore started to speak for the feast to begin. They ate, talked and laughed until they had to go back to the common room. Everyone went to their dorms except from The Marauders, Lily and Y/N. They stayed up and talked for hours on end. They all finally headed to bed when it was eleven pm. The girls headed up first then the boys headed to their dorm shortly behind them. I don't know how but the professors let all of The Marauders share a dorm but they were in the same room. Peter and Remus fell asleep as soon as they laid in their beds. "James, can I tell you something? You need to promise not to tell anyone especially the others." Sirius spoke
"Alright, what's up?" James asked
"I like someone." Sirius spoke
"Who?" James asked
Sirius walked over to James' bed making sure the others couldn't hear and whispered in his ear "Remus."
James looked at Sirius shocked with Sirius' answer but then James whispered in Sirius' ear "Wow dude, and don't worry I won't tell anyone. Your secret is safe with me."
"Thank you." Sirius spoke before going back to his bed and fell asleep. James laid awake for a while longer because he wanted to asked Lily out but didn't know how to. James fell asleep still thinking about how to get Lily to go out with him.
