Chapter Six

  James is woken up by the sound of Sirius shouting "Get your ass up James, or you'll miss the feast." in his ear.  

  "Why do you have to shout in my ear?" James asked half asleep.

  "Because Remus told me to wake you up for the first day of school and also the fact that your about to miss breakfast." Sirius spoke throwing James' robes at him.

  "Alright, go tell Remus I'm coming." James spoke getting out of his bed.

  "Ok, see you." Sirius spoke leaving the dorm shutting the door behind him.  James got changed into his robes and headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast.  He walked in still half asleep and sat down next to Lily.  They all ate their breakfast and headed to their first class.  They all had Potions.  They headed to the class.  Y/N sat next to Lily, Remus sat next to Sirius and James sat with Peter.  James wasn't paying attention to the professor because he was too busy looking at Lily because she was sitting in front of him.  Fortunately the professor didn't notice James staring at Lily.  Once the lesson was over they all headed to the next class.  They all had different classes so they all went in different directions.  They didn't see each other until it was time for lunch.  They all walked into the Great Hall and sat at the table.  Y/N was the first to appear at the table with Remus appearing shortly behind her.  Then the rest of them appeared at the same time.  They all ate their lunch and Lily noticed Severus staring at her and Y/N.  Luckily none of the boys noticed him staring at them.  

  They all headed to the rest of their classes after they ate lunch.  After the rest of their classes had ended they all headed to the Great Hall so they could talk with Regulus.  Regulus sat at the Gryffindor table with them.  Y/N however, wasn't sitting with them.  She was at the Slytherin table talking to Severus about what had happened the day before.  "Hey Severus, can we talk about yesterday?" She asked

  "Sure." Severus replied 

  Y/N sat down next to him and Severus turned to look at her.  "Why did you kiss me?" Y/n asked 

  "I kissed you because I like you.  Why did you go after Regulus?" Severus replied 

  "I went after Regulus to see why he ran out of the Great Hall looking upset." Y/n replied 

  "You didn't need to see why he was upset." Severus mumbled under his breath but Y/n heard him.  

  "I did need to go after Regulus because he is the brother of one my best friends and he is..." Y/N spoke but ended her sentence before she says anything else that could hurt Severus' feelings.  

  "He's your what." Severus spoke sounding angry 

  "He's the boy I have a crush on." Y/n replied quietly

  "I thought you liked me!" Severus spoke angry 

  Y/n just stayed quiet and looked down. "Don't ignore me Y/n!" Severus spoke 

  The Marauders noticed what was going on and heard Severus shouting at Y/N.  So James walked over to them to see why he was shouting.  "Snivellus why are you shouting at my sister?" James spoke sounding annoyed 

  "Because she is not answering me." Severus spoke 

  "She doesn't need to answer you." James spoke 

  "Yes she does!" Severus shouted.  James just ignored Severus shouting and looked down at Y/n who was still looking at the ground.  "Y/n go back over to the others." James spoke grabbing Y/n's hand to help her up off the bench.  Y/n just nodded and walked towards the Gryffindor table.  "You don't have the right to shout at my sister like that Snivellus." James spoke before walking back over to the others but before he could Severus hit him.  "What the hell was that for!" James shouted
