Milo's POV - Thursday
Sloane and I walk into culinary arts together and I see that our cake has started to take shape. I guess Sloane worked on it after I left yesterday. But there is still much to be done and not much time seeing as it is due today. We decided to work through lunch today.

The cake has been assembled but still needs to be decorated. Sloane grabs the frosting while I grab the rock candy. Carefully, I cut a section out of the cake then Sloane puts frosting inside the crevice before we gently start placing the pieces of rock candy inside the crevice. We repeat this process a total of 3 times before we are finally done with the cake.

After we clean up our work station, Sloane and I eat our lunches seeing as we worked through ours. Beside me, my phone buzzes alerting me to a text from mama. She said that she told mom last night and she took it well. I'm very lucky to have two loving and supportive moms. I nudge Sloane to get her attention before showing her the text from mama. "You told her?!"

Oops. Guess I didn't tell Sloane I came out to mama. "Yeah, yesterday afternoon. She took it well obviously and I told her that she could tell mom for me," I respond.

She leans over and brings me into a hug. "I'm proud of you bubs," she starts, "I'm extremely proud of you." I give her another squeeze before releasing the hug.

I respond to mama's text with a thumbs up and a heart before I turn my phone off and continue eating my lunch until the bell rings. Collecting all my stuff, I head to Ms. Lang's class and get ready to be coddled.

Walking in the door, I make direct eye contact with Ms. Lang. I release a sigh as I set my stuff down at my seat before I walk over to her and give her a hug. "Are you okay Milo?" she asks.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I say with a nod as I back out of the hug. She looks at me apprehensively as if she doesn't believe what I'm saying. "Okay well, I've been better but I think going home helped significantly and I came out to my moms last night, to nobody's surprise, they took it well."

"Milo! That's amazing! I'm proud of you kid," she excitedly says. I just smile in response.

The bell rings and I make my way to the front of the school with Sloane; once outside, we meet up with Charlie. "Do y'all know who's picking us up today?" I ask.

Charlie looks over at me before speaking, "Yeah, Tierna is in town for a game so she asked mama if she could pick us up today and mama said yes." Tierna is easily one of my favorites out of mama's former teammates so I'm hyped that she's picking us up today. She's more of a sister than an aunt to Charlie and I due to her age.

A few minutes pass before I see Tierna pull up in what I assume is a rental car. I sit down in the passenger seat and greet her with a smile while Charlie and Sloane get in the backseat. "Hi Tierna!"

"Hi Milo! How was school?" she says as she continues out of the parking lot.

"It was pretty good; same old same old," I say with a shrug. "How was your day?"

"Same old same old," she replies.

I realize that Charlie and Sloane are uncharacteristically quiet in the backseat so i turn my head and both their jaws have dropped. "Are y'all okay back there?" I question.

"Yeah- I just didn't know that you were out to T over here," my sister says and Sloane nods in agreement.

Tierna and I both let out a chuckle. "T was actually the first person I came out to," I say as I turn back around in my seat. I glance at the backseat and see the both of them gobsmacked.

"I didn't know that!" both of them yell at the same time. Tierna and I both bust out laughing.

Some time later, after we dropped Sloane off at her house, we arrived back at home. I think T is staying with us while the national team is in town instead of at the hotel. Walking into the house, I see mom sitting on the couch, presumably, waiting for us, or rather me.

"Milo," is all she says.

"Mom."

Tierna and Charlie notice the tension and go upstairs, leaving me and mom alone. Upon invitation, I sit down on the couch next to her; laying my head on her shoulder, I wrap my arms around her.

"You know I will always love you, Milo, right? No matter what," she says, pressing a kiss to my temple.

Tears well up in my eyes causing me to bury my head into her neck. "I love you too, mom," I mumble out.

"You are valid and you are worthy. Never ever forget that," she says as she wraps her arms around me, causing my tears to fall.

Sue's POV
Feeling tears hit my neck, I look down at Milo before I press kisses to his head, beginning to rock us back and forth on the couch.

"Do you wanna go cuddle, baby?" I whisper in his ear, knowing that typically whenever he cries, he just wants to cuddle. He slowly nods into my neck. "Do you wanna go get changed?" I gently ask.

"Yeah, give me a couple minutes and I'll be right back, mom," he softly replies before slowly standing up and heading for the stairs.

I pad into mine and Megan's room before changing into comfy clothes, grabbing a couple waters from the kitchen, and then laying down on the bed to wait for my son. Less than 5 minutes pass before Milo pads into the room, sliding into the bed, he immediately rests his head in my neck, wrapping his arms around me.

I'm so lucky that he's my son. I couldn't ask for a better son. "I love you kid. I'm so very proud of you for coming out, I know that wasn't easy," I say. He just nods, snuggling farther into my neck. I gently press a kiss to his temple before I wrap my arms around him. I feel my eyes start to flutter shut before I eventually let the sleep take over.

A/N: hey guys! so i'm aware that i keep switching around who is mom and mama so megan is mama and sue is mom. that's what i'm going to stick with from now on.
