Hope you’re all getting suspicions on who it is out to hurt everyone ;)

Heather’s POV ~
I place the phone back into its cradle and hear the dial tone end. I stare at the floor still unable to move as my head loses itself in amongst the thoughts of who could be out to hurt me. I finally stop thinking about everything and make my way into the bathroom for a nice warm shower to freshen up and clear my head. I grab some clothes from one of my suitcases before going in and turning on the water to the right temperature.
After a nice long shower, I slip into the clothes I picked out and make my way to the bed to grab my phone. Just as I pick it up it buzzes in my hand and I look at the screen.
6 missed calls – Michael
1 unread message – Michael
I unlock the phone and open my messages to see a text from Michael asking me to call him ASAP.
Michael’s POV
As I’m on my way home I have the radio turned up and I tap my thumb on the leather steering wheel to the beat of whatever is playing. Suddenly a chime plays and the fuel light on the dashboard lights up so I make my way to the nearest exit ramp where there is a service station not far off. I pull into an available pump and fill up so I can get on the way again. I pump clicks when it’s full and I make my way into the shop grabbing an iced coffee before paying. I make my way back to the car and hop in pulling the seatbelt across my chest. Just as I go to put the key in the ignition, my phone rings with a text message.
“You sure it’s the best idea to leave your best friend at a hotel all by herself after someone tried killing her? You’d wanna hope she sleeps safely tonight”
I instantly pull up Heather’s number and try urgently to get contact of her when possible and leave a text message saying the same thing. Sure enough, she calls me back in a few minutes asking me if everything is okay.
“I just got a text as I hopped in the car from filling up saying ‘Is it a good idea I left my best friend in a hotel on her own, I’d wanna hope she sleeps safely’” I repeat saying the message.
“How did they know you dropped me off here?” Heather asks
“I don’t know but I didn’t see any cars following us the whole way there so it has me completely stumped”
“I’ll be okay, it’s just kinda weird knowing someone knows I’m here and that someone could have bad intentions to hurt me”
“I can call Dwayne and ask him to pack some clothes and we book a room here too?” I suggest
“That would make me feel more secure I guess, you sure it’s not too much trouble?”
“I’d rather go out of my way making sure you’re safe then take a risk if you could be in danger” I insist.
Heather thanks me before hanging up so I can call Dwayne and ask him to meet us at the Hilton with some clothes. Dwayne doesn’t answer his phone even after I try 3 times. I leave a message on his voicemail to say I’ll be at the Hilton if he could come when he’s free and begin to make my way back to Heather.
Heather’s POV ~
I put on the TV as I wait for Michael to arrive back and take some selfies for instagram in the meantime. I have nothing better to do so I decide to go down to the reception desk and have a conversation with the man in the suit from earlier. I notice him not so I make my way over to the lady behind there to ask if he was around.
“Hey, I was wondering is the guy that was here earlier still around is he on lunch break.”
“Oh you mean Ryan?” the lady asks
A rather loud knock comes from under the counter as the woman finishes saying Ryan and sure enough, his face emerges with a hand on his temple with a painful look on his face.
“Yeah I’m here” he laughs
I smile at him taking in all the details about him like how blue his eyes are along with his silky brown hair styled upwards, his small button nose and his rosy red cheeks only getting deeper as he blushed realizing I was checking him out. I snap back to reality noticing he saw me and just smile as we both sense the awkwardness arising.
“I was just wondering, are you um, free tonight?” I ask making my way over to him.
“Sure am, I finish here at 6, why’s that?” he answers with a half-smile.
“Did you ugh, wanna go out somewhere? My schedules open and I was just looking to spend time with someone who seems fairly nice”
“I’ll meet you at your room at 7 then” he says with a quick wink.
“HEATHER!” a voice yells from behind me making me spin to see who called out.
Michael’s streamline figure makes his way in the entrance and over towards me with a wide smile as he put his sunglasses on his head. I take a step closer to him and pull him into a hug watching Ryan’s eyes slightly widen as he sees me hugging another guy after I asked him on a date. I point to the back of Michael’s head and mouth to Ryan ‘don’t worry he’s gay’.
“Hey Ryan, could you get a room for my friend here please? Non-smoking, double preferably” I ask with a smile.
He quickly gives Michael a room key card and we make our way to the elevator.
Michael’s POV ~
Heather and I step into the lift and press the button to take us to the second floor. Heather starts talking about how she’ll have to Skype her sister and let her know why she can’t make it as planned and then continues to talk about how she loves London with all their shops and I just smile partially zoning out still wondering who knows that she’s here. Heather unlocks the door to her room and we make our way over to the lounge chair straight away to watch some TV for a bit. Before I sit down to join Heather my phone buzzes and instantly I expect it to be Dwayne replying. I unlock my phone and read the message.
“Just because you went back to make sure you best friend is safe, doesn’t mean your other half will be. Sweet dreams xx”
