Well, Tamaki is dead. He was slammed into the wall by Mr. Ranka when he pulled Tamaki off of Haruhi. I stood over him as Mr. Ranka checked on his daughter. Who knew Tamaki would try something like that.
"Oh dear, my left arm has been bothering me lately. It's so sore like I went hand to hand with some ferocious beast. Guess I just have been working too hard." Mr. Ranka says as he's rubbing his shoulder. Poor guy.
Meanwhile Tamaki has entered what I like to call reality check. I guess he isn't used to someone not liking him and throwing him into a wall.
"I could sure use a cup of hot tea right about now." Mr. Ranka said and I smiled. I can't wait to see what Tamaki will say.
"Hot tea?! I'll get it for you! Do you use firewood to burn it, Haruhi?! Help me out, your dad wants tea!" Tamaki yells as poor Haruhi just looks confused. Why would he offer it if he didn't know how to make it?
He was kicked. "Oh my, would you look at that. I seem to have come across a little pest. Would you like to tell me why you're addressing my daughter with such informality, young man?"
I smiled. "Mr. Ranka, would you like me to get you some tea? I can tell you're going to be busy for a while."
He smiled at me. "How lovely to see you again Karakau! Would you do that for me?"
"Of course Mr. Ranka. Please call me Gema though."
"Sure dear."
I could almost laugh at the face Tamaki was giving me. Instead, I started making him tea.
"Hey Boss, what in the world is taking you so long?" Kaoru asked.
"Hey check it out, that person that passed us downstairs was Haruhi's father." Hikaru stated.
Tamaki called out for help but instead, he was used as a doormat. The twins stepped on him to introduce themselves to Mr. Ranka. They started apologizing for Tamaki and I knew that Mr. Ranka would tolerate them. They also said that Tamaki fools around with more ladies than they can count.
Oh snap. I can see the anger on Mr. Ranka's face. Tamaki is a deadman. Of course Tamaki had to quickly call bull on that. The twins faced him with surprised expressions while I just stared. Is he seriously confessing his love now?!
Actually, the tea's done so I don't care as much. "Mr. Ranka, the tea is done. Just come have a seat." Mostly just get away from Tamaki. He needs a breather.
He smiled at me. "Why thank you dear!"
He went and sat when the rest of the Host Club came in. "Just go sit down guys. You gave up your freedom the moment you came back again." I explained while grabbing more cups.
They didn't question it and went to sit. Haruhi helped me pass out the tea. I saw Tamaki was in the corner when I came over.
"I get it. You must be the Host Club that I've heard so much about." Ranka said while smiling at all of us except Tamaki. "You certainly are a fine looking bunch of young men, I'm not sure which of you I like best. What about you dear?" Ranka asked Haruhi.
She was busy sweat dropping at Tamaki to answer. Ranka just continued. "I'll tell you what, why don't you boys just go ahead and call me Ranka? That's the professional name I use at the bar I work at."
Honey was confused, needless to say. "Professional name? You mean like a stage name?" Guess he wasn't as confused as I thought.
Ranka nodded. "Exactly like that Mitsukuni."
"Hold on! How did you know my name sir?"
I quickly looked away. He most definitely didn't hear me and Haruhi talking about them a couple weeks ago when we first met. Totally not. Ranka gave a small chuckle.
