I smiled as I looked at the prices going on at the supermarket. It was a sale so I figured I would check it out.
"Gema?" A voice rang out from among the chatter from the other customers.
I looked over to see Haruhi. "Oh hey Haruhi! You're here for the sale too? I'm not that surprised to be honest."
"Yeah. Are the prices any good?" She asked.
"For sure. Wanna shop together? I can help carry some bags back to your place if you'd like."
She nodded. Together, we found the best prices for some things that we would normally not get. It was kinda nice to go grocery shopping with someone.
"That was some sale, right Gema?" Haruhi said as we walked back to her place with bags in our hands.
I smiled. "There's no better time to hit up a grocery market than on a Sunday morning. Are you planning to do anything after this?"
"All I gotta do is clean and do some laundry."
"Sweet. Have you finished the homework? I'm having trouble with our math. Question 3 gets me everytime I swear."
She laughed. "We can work on it together then."
Our attention was then drawn to the commotion in front of us. A small group of people were surrounding the back of a car. What's going on this time? I swear if it's the host club, I'm going to flip.
"What's going on? Why are they in front of our apartments?" Haruhi asked as she tilted her head. Why couldn't I have a sister like this?
I shrugged. "Maybe it's some famous person that got lost?"
We watched as a guy opened the door for the person inside. So it was for sure a rich person. We couldn't hear what they said though. Then out came six people. Is it bad that I know exactly who they are based on their hair?
"Haruhi, did you know they were coming?" I asked. I got no reply so I looked over to see Haruhi leaning up against a pole with her face. The groceries on the ground. Oh dear, I guess she didn't.
We walked closer just in time to hear Tamaki. "Now listen up men, don't you forget we must be polite! This is a casual, we just happened to be in the neighborhood, kind of visit." A little too late for that buddy. "We're not here to judge the Fujioka family's lifestyle. The words shabby, cramped, and run down are absolutely forbidden."
You poor idiot. We heard it all and Haruhi looks pissed. "Don't say anything that might offend Haruhi or her father and cause them to ask us to leave." Pft.
"Well it's too late for that! Go away!" Haruhi said while not trying to yell. I don't blame her in the slightest. The club jumped and Tamaki whipped around to face us.
"That pink dress is pretty cute on you Haruhi." The twins said as they did a thumbs up. Right, they aren't used to her wearing dresses or anything of that sort.
I watched as Haruhi's cheeks turned a light shade of pink that could easily be unnoticable. "Shut up! Get the hell out of here!"
Tsundere much Haruhi. Tamaki freaked out about Haruhi cursing and started to blame the twins. I looked at Haruhi. She already looked down with them.
"Excuse me Haruhi but is everything alright." An old lady asked. She seems nice.
"Oh hi Ms. Landlady." She says as she turns to face the old lady.
"Those young men are driving such fancy forgien cars, they're not yakuza are they?" She asks, concern lacing every feature.
I couldn't help it. I really did try. I swear I did but it was all too much. I burst out laughing and believe me when I say I finally got the lmao thing. Ms. Landlady and Haruhi looked at me strangely.
