Kyouka asks Dazai why he wants to die and Dazai answers the same way he did as to when Mori asked.
Or
Kyouka accidentally brings back a dark memory that she shouldn't have and Dazai and his past have come back to haunt him.
( and mori lol, man be sleeping with one eye open. i would sleep with two eyes open like jfc its dazai we're talking about here not chuuya or akutagawa )
It was a beautiful day in Yokohama, the sun poured lovingly onto all the residents giving a nice warm start to the day.
That was until the effects of Climate change reminded everyone that it was still there, taking over and scorching all the residents of their happiness until there was nothing left but a crisp, hollow burned out shell.
But this still wasn't over, they were then forced to suffer not only externally, but internally to the point where one could not feel any pain anymore due to the lack of nerves in their burned out skin ----
Or in other words: It was HOT. No, it was REALLY HOT.
Even in the Armed Detective Agency , ADA for short , with all their mightiness were practically melting.
Except Kyouka, and Dazai to the suprise of the ADA . Though he would moan about the lack of AC and get smacked by Kunikada once in a while.
" I wonder if Suicide by this heat would be possible, though it would be painful ... " , Dazai sighed, puffing his cheeks up.
" Ahhh~ How much I long to commit double suicide with a beautiful woman "
Kyouka was visibly confused by this and mentally pondered on why such a comical guy would want to rid himself of such a nice place. Yes, the world is cruel but yet so beautiful.
Though the child assassin did mentally make a note on the fact that this man had Port Mafia blood just like her from the past.
' Maybe that is the reason why ? ' She thought, making up her mind to ask the " bandage wasting maniac " , as Kunikada-san would call the man.
" Osamu, Why is it that you want to die " , Kyouka asked, fear filling her body to the brim for an unknown reason.
' Why did she suddenly feel this way? She had spoken to the man plenty before so why now? ' , she thought.
Almost immediately the atmosphere changed in the room as the man in flesh and blood turned his head lightning fast. Eyes as hollow and lifeless as of a dead man.
" Lets turn that question around , Mori , Is there really any actual value to this thing we call living ? " Dazai replied immediately as if he was reading from a book.
He blinked once, then twice and burst into laughter that now was revealed to be forced. How had nobody noticed.
Kunikada's grip on his pen became almost enough to break it as he silently watched this play out. Ranpo looked at them silently from where he was at.
" Why I want to die, huh ? " He smiled, facade unbroken , " Don't mind what I said, That was just me tormenting you guys with this cool quote I found on the interenet. "
Dazai looked as all of the members of the ADA stared at him unbelievably exckuding Atsushi .
" Ummm, Dazai-san , You mentioned the Port Mafia's boss name when you answered Kyouka --- " Atsushi was cut off by Dazai.
" That was just a bit of nonsense you see -- " A notification stopped him on the spot as his eyes lit up with fake light again.
" Sorry, There's this new Suicide book that just dropped a mile away from here so I got to go -- "
" YOUR NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL YOU FINISH YOUR WORK DAZAIII " Kunikada Snapped. Earning a few lighthearted laughs.
He has been with Dazai long enough to know that his depression is real and him just casually dropping some deprecating comments like that made him mad and skipping work to add more weird suicide methods were just adding wood to the fire.
He had finally had it , He was taking Dazai Osamu to a therapist. Pray that he won't flirt with them if they are a woman.

Next time on the second ever chapter of this fic , Kunikada will take Dazai to a therapist and will meet Chuuya taking Akutagawa there.
What will happen when double black meet again ?
More importantly, will Kunikada's sanity survive this horrible matchup?
And will Akutagawa murder Kunikada for revenge from last time ?
