(Hawks' P.O.V.)

So he was off at work again. I can't sleep. I checked the time and sighed. 4 a.m. on the dot. Guess he's doing nightly patrol. I'd like to join, but of course, I'm not allowed to until I'm deemed well-rested or whatever. I sat up and decided to play a random song. What a fun coincidence. The song was called 4:00 A.M. It's a pretty interesting song so I just let it play. I laid down, staring at the ceiling. I no longer had the calming sounds of rain to lull me to sleep. All that remained was the sound of faint thunder being covered up by the music playing. I rested my palms behind my neck, near my nape. I had the urge to go out and fly but considering the rain and the thunder, it wouldn't be wise. I missed being held by Enji so much.

I curled into a ball. I wasn't cold but I did feel kinda sad. It reminds me of the time I spent in that horrid place. I sighed softly, sitting up. I stretched and decided to get rid of some energy. So I started doing various stretches and exercises to try tiring myself out. I whistled as I did so. I figured I'd waste as much energy as possible. I took a quick break to drink water. It's important to hydrate. Remember that. (Just a gentle reminder to you thirsty children ;) ) Anyhow, I kept at it until around 7 a.m. I took a shower and went to sleep. I woke up to my phone ringing less than 30 minutes later. I answered and it was a pro hero requesting assistance. I got up and changed into my hero outfit quickly. I ran out and started flying at the fastest speed I could. I rushed to the location.

I landed and began helping them out by evacuating citizens since the others were focused on taking care of the threat. I managed to move them away and tried to contribute to taking care of the emergency at hand. When I say tried, I mean it cause a kid decided to cling onto my leg. I ended up sending a bunch of my feathers to help out instead. The kid was full-on sobbing so I comforted him to the best of my ability. I hummed a calming tune. I was trying to calm both the kid and myself down. If a hero is seen in distress, the citizens will be even more frightened. My body started functioning a bit less. I kept a smile, ruffling the kid's hair and going back to focusing on the situation.

Afterwards, I was allowed to go home and continued to rest. I flew home, being even more tired than before. The lack of proper rest on top of a sudden call to an emergency really takes a toll. I nearly crashed into a few billboards on the way home. Luckily, I managed to make it home safely and I got comfortable in bed, falling asleep immediately. I didn't wake up at all after that.
